They drill out a little larger than the pipe your joining to making it a loose fit. When gluing the two pieces together you need to make allowance for the loose fit.

I was in a bind trying to remove a stubborn piece of pipe, and this tool absolutely saved the day. It worked perfectly with my drill, and to my surprise, it got the job done on the first try with no hassle. Solid, reliable, and does exactly what it’s supposed to. If you’re on the fence about getting one, just do it—you won’t regret it. Highly recommend!

So I bought this product so that my husband can use it to employment work it is not what I hoped it would be it's easy to use the build quality is not great it's kind of cheap but what I paid for it I guess is okay it fit perfectly but the functionality is not up to par needless to say the items have been strong about and I don't even know where they are anymore because we use them one time and just threw them in the back of the truck because they were really not that great to be honest I won't be buying any more of those.

Product shipped quickly and no issues with the seller whatsoever. However the product is not designed well. the reaming edge doesn't make a clean cut it almost looks like it threads the pipe instead of cleanly reaming the hole. It does the job of removing the material from a old glue up, but it does it as ugly as possible. You will need to definitely sand the inside of the pipe fitting with a dremel to get the lingering material out of the way. If I had to do it again I would have gone with the other style reamer with the longer lead in shoulder

Every plumber should have a set of these. If you know how and what they are used for they can make a major pain in th @$$ job easier. They are used to drill out the glued in pipe from PVC or ABS pipe fittings. It takes a bit of skill, or you can break a fitting hub or over drill it. That is on the operator, not the tool.
