I got this as a preventative aid for my septic system, as we all know (or should know!) it is much better & cheaper to prevent problems than to fix them. Although there was nothing in particularly wrong with my system, it is aging and figured this would do it some good. It didn't break anything, but I can't tell if it helped much or not. And that is just fine with me. It was pretty smelling opening the container so it certainly seems like it would do something. Overall not a bad price for what it is suppose to do.

I like treating my septic system every month to ensure the health of the bacteria in the system so it doesn't backup and create any issues. I used Rid-x for years without any issue, but it got very price. I swapped over to Green Gobbler again, more affordable and no issues. I appreciate a one a month treatment as it's easy to remember and low maintenance. That's were I dislike Purge. They want you to use it every two weeks. That's both inconvenient and will ultimately cost you more money then several other proven options out there. I'll pass on this in the future and continue with the long tested and easier to use products.

Use it monthly, great product for odor and keeping things moving out. Hell I put a splash in my coffee in the morning. J/k don’t do that, but great product.

These are one of those products that you can only assume are working as they should since I don't have a camera into my septic tank but I'm always for at least trying the things they say to do to help because I want to prevent any issues in the future. The directions were easy to follow.

I can tell you with in a few days I noticed there was no sewage gas odor coming from my kitchen, or bathroom drains, amazing. This company came up with a great product for upkeep of a healthy septic system. I will continue to support this veteran/ family owned business.I highly recommend this product!

This Purge All-In-One Septic Treatment offers a unique solution to septic maintenance by focusing on enhancing the bacteria already present in the system, rather than adding new enzymes or bacteria. As the company explained to me in our conversation, the product works by improving the size and efficiency of existing bacteria, allowing them to break down organic solids faster and more effectively.I appreciated the open communication with the company. They acknowledged that if your septic system is already functioning well, you might not notice an immediate difference. However, the real benefit lies in maintenance and prevention. This product aims to keep your septic system efficient, reducing backups, odors, and the need for frequent pumping. The company also shared valuable insight into the challenges they face in competing with enzyme-based treatments, which dominate the market. They explained why their approach could be more effective and sustainable in the long run, but they also recognize the difficulty in educating the public about this difference. While the price point is higher than enzyme products, they believe the benefits justify the cost, particularly for those dealing with septic issues.A major plus is that this product is made in the USA by a veteran-owned company, which is always something I like to support. The bottle is straightforward to use—just flush it into your system—and it’s safe for all types of septic setups. While one bottle might not provide enough data for a full evaluation, I’m impressed with the concept and the company’s commitment to educating customers about why this product stands out. I’ll be using it for maintenance and hope to see long-term benefits. If you’re open to trying something new and supporting an American-made product, this is worth considering!
