About this item

  • Dual-Function Composite Filter Cartridge: The 2-stage whole-house water filtration system includes two filter cartridges. The first cartridge is a dual-function composite filter that combines both a PP (polypropylene) filter and an iron removal filter. This composite filter effectively removes suspended particles, sediment, and iron from your water supply.
  • Carbon Block Filter Cartridge: The second filter cartridge is a carbon block filter. This cartridge is specifically designed to remove chlorine, odor, and organic compounds, further enhancing the taste and quality of your water.
  • Improved Water Quality: With the dual-function composite filter and carbon block filter, this filtration system significantly improves the quality of your water. It removes impurities, sediment, iron, chlorine, and unpleasant odors, providing you with cleaner, fresher, and better-tasting water for all your household needs.
  • Easy-to-Monitor Pressure Gauge: The system is equipped with a convenient pressure gauge that allows you to monitor the water flow pressure. By observing the gauge, you can determine when it's time to replace the filter cartridges, ensuring optimal filtration performance and consistent water flow.
  • Space-Saving Design: Measuring a standard size of 10*4.5 inches, this whole-house water filtration system has a compact and space-saving design. It can be easily installed in most areas, making it suitable for various home setups without occupying excessive space.

This was fairly easy to install and is working well to eliminate rust and particulates from my water.

Very sturdy and good quality! The guages even had thread tape already on them! Works as it should, I think it was worth the money and would buy again/ recommend πŸ‘Œ πŸ‘

The threads have been updated to brass inserts instead of plastic. All worked great and was easy to install. No leaks.

Check brass threading both sides The quality of the unit is great. Nice and beefy. But I returned one unit already for the threads on the left side being buggered up just like I say in the video. Frustrating! Now the same thing on this one. Their tooling is off. The threads on the left side won’t accept the fitting like it should and now I have to gamble if I would like the left side fitting and city water pressure to be held back by one row of threads and some plumbers tape.

Bought to add a 'pre filter' to my whole-house water softener.Quality of materials seemed adequate, but lackadaisical quality assurance ("QA") caused me much extra work and expense: The 1" inlet on the Right side of the unit was adequate, but on the Left side of the unit was entirely inadequate/bad. Why? In the USA, NPT (National Pipe Thread) is 'tapered'. The threads are a bit larger at the opening, slowly getting narrower the deeper you screw in the fitting. The Left hand inlet was, indeed, standard 1" x 11-1/2 tpi - but it was NOT tapered. I could not screw in the male 1" fitting more than a quarter turn (1/4 turn). No good, would pop out if slightly disturbed.By the time I discovered this, and since everything else was acceptable, I decided to purchase a cheap NPT Tap, which I had to modify so as not to cut into the unit's plastic body, and futz around for an hour until I got a satisfactory 'taper' to accept my fitting. (BTW I tried 3 different 1" male fittings in this bad inlet, including a PVC fitting - None would fit. It was this filter unit's problem until I re-tapped the inlet). So at least it works now. No leaks. Just a bad day at the factory final quality check- or worn-out tap tool at the factory is my guess. It happens. I'm not returning it, but If I wasn't a strong DIY sort of person, I would have sent it back.

The sediment filter has a top and a bottom orientation but was not labeled at all. Water will not flow to the carbon filter chamber if the sediment filter is upside down. Once I figured that out, the rest was not an issue. The 1" mnpt I used was cast iron. The PVC fittings kept cross threading. I took the 1" to 1 1/4" PVC. Make sure to use plenty of pipe fitting tape. One of mine leaked a drop every 2 minutes.....enough to make me mad and cut the pipe and fix it. You can see the coupler on the right hand side pipe. worked pretty well for a novice. Hoping the water results are worth the 6 hours to put it in.Update: 02-11-25 Turns out the leak was part of a broken inlet connector inside the filter. I have asked the seller to compensate me for the time and materials lost on the return and replacement of this filter. I have not heard from them at all.

This is a quality system with brass fittings and excellent filters. I highly recommend this filter system especially after returning a poor quality system from another company that had plastic threads and SEVERE leaks.
