It is a little heavy when filled, but that is to be expected.

Nice water pitcher! Feels substantial. And I like that the handle is attached both top and bottom (my last pitcher was only attached at the top and that's where it broke).Others who said the water filters slowly are accurate. It seems to be a slow process with this filter type. Doesn't really bother me though since the pitcher holds a lot of filtered water. So long as you refill the top half before the bottom runs dry the slow drip won't be relevantFiltered water quality and taste is very good. About on par with the BWT brand I had previously. All told I'd say this is hard to beat for the price.

Love the PUR pitcher for water quality. Love this ones holds more (less filling up). Also love the sensor to identify when the filter needs to be replaced.

First off, I realize plastic isn't the most ideal container for food and liquid. Microplastics are a serious issue. But when you need filtered water and cannot afford a better filtration system, this is the best option. Clean water with no aftertaste. Lasting, fast working filters, simple set up, great tasting water, what more could you ask for? Product arrived unscathed. Very happy with this purchase.

I'm done with these 10/11 cup pitchers. I have been a faithful user for years but they continuously break at the top side of the handle. Break after break after break. Why can't they build a heavier duty water pitcher? I love the Pur filters, but I am sick of buying these pitchers that continuously break. Side note: Guys, have you ever bought Gillette razor blades? You practically need a blow torch to get through the heavy plastic to get the darn blades open. Why on earth can't Pur hire this guy that made that plastic for Gillette to make these water pitchers stronger? I just bought a 7 cup pitcher to finish off the rest of my Pur water filters and then I switching to something else.

I've been using for about a month now and so far so good! I really like that it's dishwasher safe too. I recommend this product.

I used Brita for a long time before buying this pitcher. I can say that I much prefer the PUR pitcher and it actually makes the water taste better. I was hesitant to buy because people said it took too long to filter water, but mine is working just great!! It doesn’t take long to fill at all. The filters are more expensive, but I’m assuming that’s because the filters are actually doing something. Overall, I recommend!!

The water tastes very nice.I don't like the flip up cap on the spout end, You have to be careful not to tip the pitcher too far forward otherwise water gushes out too quickly. The water takes time to go through the filter, It is not a quick process to fill the pitcher. I used a brand new filter and I followed the directions and did the prep for it.I used to have the Britta water filter pitcher and I wanted to try the Pur one to compare the two. I think the water tastes better from the Pur water system. You just have to be patient and wait for the water to go through the filter. Despite the couple of flaws, the improved taste of water takes priority and makes the Pur water pitcher the winner out of the two.

I had planned to install a reverse osmosis purifier under the kitchen sink, I had one before in a different house 30 years ago. Back then purification pitchers weren't that good so I didn't consider it until a friend recommended it. The reverse osmosis purifier & installation would have cost about $400, so Pur saved me LOTS of money! Every day I'm still surprised at how good the water tastes!
