IP69K Waterproof Rear Camera
The rear camera can be mounted in the cabin or above the license plate outside. Comes with the backup camera function by connecting the signal cable to the power supply of the reversing lights.
Emergency Lock
When the emergency lock detects a collision, the current video is locked, ensuring important footage is kept protected. The locked video files cannot be erased during Loop Recording, they remain on the memory card until the card is reformatted. We recommend using the Low setting for this feature.
WDR - Wide Dynamic Range
Depending on the lighting, the image may look overexposed or underexposed, but don’t worry, Pruveeo has helped you to resolve the problem with our WDR feature. I love this mirror cam. It works as advertised and is easy to use. The installation was a breeze also. The "ssontong Upgraded OBD2 OBD Power Cable for Dash Camera" is a must have to go with this cam.

The PRUVEEO 12" Mirror Dash Cam is hands-down the best dash cam I’ve ever used! I wanted a dash cam. I feel that it is necessary to protect yourself in any way possible, this makes that a little easier. I wanted a 3 channel camera with GPS, this has that. The reason I wanted 3 channels is because I want a record of the front, rear and interior of my vehicle. The GPS is a record of speed, location and the day and time, that's important information to have. It installed easily, and the profile is almost unnoticeable from the exterior. If I could give anyone some advice, buy a universal mount for it. This is a big cam with a 12" screen, it's heavy. I bought a universal mount that did not require you to screw into the cam, it fastens around 2 adjustable metal stand offs that allow you to use the rubber straps. I have had rear view mirrors come off and it's a pain to have to re-epoxy them, the weight of this screen plus the mirror may lead to that happening. I attached this to the new mount, and it does not move at all! If you see complaints about glare, it has to do with the position of the camera. Move the camera so that it reduces the glare for night usage. It's a great unit with a very nice screen and functions. I also wanted a unit that DID NOT have a battery back-up. If you need one with battery back-up, choose another unit. I did not want a battery because I park in a garage and don't need the parking feature, some people want that feature for when they park in a parking lot but if you get hit by someone in a parking lot and they drive away, the game is over. Batteries don't like temperature change either, I don't want those coin batteries leaking and hurting the unit. Anyway, this is a decent unit that hopefully will last, we'll see. ADDENDUM: I have had the unit in my vehicle for a couple weeks today it completely flipped out! The screen began fluttering and the screen came on and off! I was afraid of this! I have contacted the seller and left them the details. If I do not get satisfaction for an obvious flawed unit, I will add the unfavorable details to my review! This SHOULD NOT HAPPEN in a brand new dash cam! It had 5 stars, now it has 3! I used all their hardware and there was no misuse or abuse involved! If they make it right I'll change it back, but this should not happen with a new dash cam! We'll see! ADDENDUM II: I contacted the seller and they responded to my email through Amazon very quickly. I will give them credit for the customer support that they deserve because they contacted me within 24 hours. I had a great customer service rep who apologized for the problem and told me they stand by their product! They do! Pruveeo sent me a new Dash Cam of the same make and model which I received at no charge, they delivered it and I installed the new cam today. I am hoping that I will not have any problems with this new unit. It works! I hope it continues to work because this is a very nice unit. I will amend my rating if I continue to have no issues with this new cam. It was a hassle to have to undo all the wiring and replace it all, but I do like the unit very much! I will give an update in the future. FINAL ADDENDUM: I have had this unit in my vehicle for 1 Year. Outside of the initial problem, the unit I received as a replacement has worked flawlessly! Great customer service, and they stood by their product! This is a WONDERFUL PRODUCT! I now feel safe on the road, the world has just become too crazy not to have one of these! After 1 year I give this product 5 stars!

Works nearly perfect! Nice and wide camera angles for all three cameras! Very clear daytime pictures that will definitely be good enough to protect you in a liability case. The in-cab camera is just as good. Will be exactly what ride-share drivers need to cover them. The rear camera works great in the day time and at night for driving. I do prefer to drive with it in screen saver mode. The one complaint is the back up camera at night. It leaves us with no rear view for backing. If the area is lit then it will work but even with reverse lights on you can't see anything at all, complete black out. You'll have nothing but side mirrors. Hopefully they'll address this in the next model. Over all I'd say it's well worth the price and may pay off exponentially in liability assignment! I'd buy it again.
