Purchased this item b/c I do periodic work on my 2 cars and got tired of sitting on a 2 step ladder or chair and having to pick up and move constantly to manuever around the vehicles.I suppose if anyone wanted, they could nit pick and find flaws in just about any product but I personally feel it is a sturdy well made product for the periodic user.Very simply to assemble, the drawers are especially useful to keep the tools required stored so you can quickly access them within the chair assembly. No need to pick up the chair to get around the area, just sit and roll where you need to go.Height adjustment range isn't that wide but adequate.If there were any improvement to make it any better, I'd say perhaps it would be to make the base where the drawers are round instead of square for better manueverabiltiy. Otherwise, great product that I'd recommend for the occasional user.

The toolbox is well made, almost feels like a husky toolbox just with less frictionless sliders for the drawers. The wheels roll really well, and the seat adjusts as expected (hydraulic adjustment). I was concerned that my ankles would hit the toolbox when scooting around but that is not the case. Its well worth the money.

Very nice seat, but unfortunately it sits too high. So unless you have a car lift or your vehicles ride higher, you’ll be too sitting too high. I see now that they sell a lower version, I would have preferred that one to work on my cars

It does sit low so if you struggle to get up and down this may not be for you. My husband said it is perfect, He was able to change the grandkids brake pads using this stool. It is good quality.

This was very easy to put together. It's heavier than I thought it would be. That's ok. I've been doing some home improvement, simple things like patching, caulking and painting. I use this when I'm working on anything low. Because of a hip injury I can't squat down anymore. I'd rather not work on my knees, even if I have kneepads on. So this really fits for my needs. It's comfortable, convenient with being able to have several tools or supplies in the drawers, or on the tray. Because you can adjust the height you can use it for more work than if it was just at one level all the time. It rolls easily from spot to spot. I thought it was pretty affordable compared to some of the other things I looked at. I recommend this mechanic seat. I think it's a good product, and well priced.

I ordered one for my dad for Christmas and I liked it so much I ordered one for my son too. They both like them so far. The first one I ordered had 2 little bends in the metal from shipping. The second one came in perfect condition. I think they are good quality for the price.

The height adjust works great. The drawers are smooth. Feels sturdy. The steel for the toolbox part is a bit thin, will probably get beat up over time, but should continue to function well as a stool. having a short adjustable stool is great for working in the shop, I think my coworkers are a bit jealous of my stool :)

Quick assembly, initial weird smell that dissipated after a day in the garage. Everything is very high quality, drawers stay closed, casters roll great even with lots of weight. I used it for ten days straight of 6-8 hours of working on my car. For $60 you can't beat it.I stored my sockets on the side of the stool with a magnetic Osla socket holder (see photo). Highly recommended for maximum efficiency to reduce trips to the toolbox.The padding is great with no soreness after near constant use. The padding was starting to deform a bit at the end, but is still just as comfortable. I would guess it can take the same abuse another two to three times (approximately 200 hours of total use) before I'd be worried about the comfort degrading.If you aren't using this in a professional setting I would not be at all concerned about the durability, and the versatility is unmatched.

Best garage scoot-around I've ever owned. Rolls smooth and the drawers have quality sliders and make this chair stand head and shoulders above any others I've used/owned. Seat adjustment is smooth and operates in the advertised range. I have 60 year old knees and this stops me from having to put weight on them when detailing the tires on my old faithful truck. Very nice addition to the garage. Received the first one with some shipping damage but Amazon provided a replacement and I had it in two days. This one is perfect. By the way, if you don't have Amazon Prime, you should consider it. Two day FREE shipping and I mean TWO, not three. Movies and e-books. Great deal. (And no, Amazon did not ask me to plug their Prime program.)This stool is highly recommended.
