This looks like a knock off from the real company. They used cheap plywood for the seat. I went to mount the seat and firmly press down on it with my hands like the instructions said and the seats were bending and I didn’t even sit on them. The wheels look like good quality, but I haven’t even tested it out yet. Really disappointed in the seat

Every year in the Spring I polish the aluminum wheels on my car and sit on a foot stool I made in high school to do it (I'm now 78). This year I will use a DA polisher to detail the car as well, which means getting down low to do the side panels. That foot stool doesn't roll around well so I went looking for a rolling mechanic's seat and found this WEN 73011T 250 lb. Capacity Rolling Mechanic Seat. There are several similar models on Amazon around the same price point, but this one had two additional features that I liked. One being the vertical supports on the side frames, and the other being the support straps under the seat. I thought these features would make the unit sturdier, and I was right. Once assembled, this thing feels rock solid. Assembly was easy but would have been easier if the instructions had been correct. The instructions say to assemble the two side frames to the lower frame and plastic pan, then add the seat straps and seat to the side frames. Lastly it says to install the caster wheels. Simple. Except that the two back casters cannot be installed if the rest of the unit is assembled. The Allen wrench needed to tighten the casters won't fit. The side frames must now be removed in order to tighten the casters to the lower frame. Tip: Install the casters to the lower frame and pan first, then assemble the side frames and seat. (I had forgotten another reviewer had mentioned that.) Aside from that, everything fits as it should. It's comfortable to sit on and rolls around nicely. Obviously, its meant for smooth floors and it will soon get plenty of use.

I'm right at the weight limit rating for this and have used it several times in rocker and panel repair and detailing several vehicles. I've had no issue with the rollers at all. The seat height is spot on for that kind of work. I purchased a WEN resin utility cart that I've used more than I would have believed and the quality on that is superb. It's still one of the lowest priced shop carts around but that's what prompted me to get this unit. No complaints at all. I'd buy this one again.

Makes inflating car tires and other chores that require stooping very helpful. Easy assembly.

Fine upgrade to the 3 gallon bucket I normally sit on. Well built and rolls very nicely. I recommend getting some type of organizer for the bottom tray to really set it to primo.

I've been using the WEN Rolling Mechanic Seat for a handful of years now, and it’s been a game changer in my garage. I use it when I detail my car, including cleaning my wheels and clay baring my paint. The comfortable padded seat makes working on my car a breeze. The rolling wheels glide smoothly as well and never hesitates. Plus, the built-in storage tray keeps my tools within reach, which saves me time. Overall, it’s sturdy, practical, and has significantly improved my workspace.

Easy to assemble but do the casters first.

Was surprised at how good of quality this is. This will work perfect for my husband at work. The weight limit is nice, he doesn't feel like it will collapse and the wheels move smoothly on a smooth floor. So far so good!

La calidad excede por mucho el precio, asiento muy comodo, las llantas muy buenas, en si cumple su función a la perfección.

Change up the order of assembly vs. the instructions. As said earlier install the casters first or else there will be no way to tighten the rear casters. You will need a 5mm Hex/ Allen wrench. The threads on the casters already have some blue loc-tight on them. There is a square shoulder at the base of the caster threads that engages a square hole in the metal frame. There is a female threaded sleeve with a 5mm hex on top that goes into the top side of the flame along with a flat washer and mates with the caster studs. I recommend putting the threaded sleeve all the way into the hole first and hold stationary with your thumb while turning the caster stud by hand taking care that it does not cross thread then use the 5mm hex wrench to tighten just enough to pull the square shoulder on the caster into the square hole in the frame. Because the alignment of the holes in the frame and the plastic tray are a little off, you will need to leave all the casters just a little loose until you get all 4 casters installed then go back and tighten the casters but do not overtighten. Next install the 2 side support frames (need 1/2 and 9/16 sockets or wrenches) and leave them very loose. To install the seat cushion, flip the whole unit upside down onto the seat and seat support frames and install the 4 screws. Since the side frames were left very loose, you should have no problem fishing the bolts thru and capturing the threads by hand. Flip the whole unit right side up and tighten the 2 side support frames. Flip upside down again and use a stubby screw driver to tighten the seat. The seat threads are obviously press fit and glued into the particle board so no need to over tighten these either.A great seat for under $25 just wish the seat was a little larger for my 250lb beehind
