Nice and sturdy. However, the back will fold down without warning and the pivot is a serious pinch point. I used Vice Grips to bend the U channel tighter on the chair where the back is pinned in. Make the back pivot as tight as you wish. Wheels fine on a smooth concrete floor. I added the side and bottom trays, it's great to work sitting under a car 4 ft up on my lift.

This is by far the best garage work seat I have ever used. I was tire of using those cheap garage work seats. You know the ones we all have. The ones with the small round seat and wheel that you find at your local auto parts store or tool supplier. The ones where the wheel hits a crack or small pebble and you tip over. This seat will be the last seat you will buy and you will probably buy another one after you get the first. The seat is basically a full size chair. The seating surfaces are made out of a nice strong mesh fabric. The seat bottom is contoured to hold you on the seat while moving around. Having a seat back is great. It allows you to lean back and rest your back. It comes with 5" caster that easily roll around with hardly any effort. Not like the small caster on the regular work seats that give you legs a workout every time you try to move. While this seat is not inexpensive it is worth every penny. I also purchased the spinning tool tray that go underneath the seat and the 2 trays that go on each side of the seat. If you are looking for a shop/ garage seat that is very well built, comfortable and rolls around with ease look no further. I am very happy with my purchase and will be buying 1 or 2 more just to have around my garage.

The instructions are correct BUT, the chair's assembly is counterintuitive. The cylindrical column that rises out of the base is actually pointed downward and not upwards like on various office chairs. It doesn't seem to make any difference and to be honest from an engineering standpoint should provide additional stability by lowering the center of gravity. HOWEVER, the most notable instruction, the big color label on the "column" that says "WARNING THIS END UP POSSIBLE INJURY, [ETC, ETC]" of the base is upside down 🤦‍♂️! So, even if you read the instructions you may be seduced by the large color warning of serious injury. I'll admit it...I was. The much smaller label on the bottom of the base that says "TOP" looks as though it could be top for packing purposes. Anyway, if you try to assemble it incorrectly it almost goes in and is very very wobbly so if it feels like that you more than likely have it in upside down. Don't get me wrong, I think it's gonna be a great chair. It's just that if serious injury may result then you better get it right, right? The wheels are outstanding. They are threaded stud casters with nylon locking nuts. They are a significantly larger diameter than an office chair or even my DeWalt roller workseat. Trust me, you want that. They're big enough that they won't catch on things on the floor as you roll around. I had a desk chair in here and ball bearings were rolling around everywhere all the time because the wheel caught on something and bent allowing the balls to just fall out of the wheels.I tightened the nuts on the wheels. This thing rolls so smoothly that you'll have a hard time staying still in front of your workspace! That seems good at first but in practice gets old. I couldn't tell a big difference in how freely the wheels spun as I was tightening them but once I turned the chair upright it did the trick. It still rolls very easily but just the pressure of your resting feet won't push you away from the desk. The chair adjusts to a surprisingly low height which is quite neat! I didn't realize how often I needed this. It goes as low as a shop roller seat I'd say. At its highest it feels like it's at the height of a normal office chair. As someone mentioned, the back does in fact fold flat lol. I would never have even thought of that but yeah it's neat. It sure fits under a table which is handy! It might alllmost make you think you could sit on it while it is folded, especially since at its lowest height it would almost make sense but, while there aren't any instructions I found that address this issue, I wouldn't suggest it. I just don't think it's made for that. Maybe the manufacturer will weigh in here.Functionality, it's working great so far.Value for money, I think it's gonna be pretty good.

This chair is an absolute game-changer, and my new favorite. It’s incredibly easy to assemble and offers excellent comfort! It’s so popular in our house, it causes fights to break out over who gets to use it! I have to give it a 15/10, and would strongly recommend it!

Easy to put together and great back support. I work from home and spend a lot of time in the chair - very comfortable!! Also folds over to fit under my desk so great for offices or spaces with limited room.

I thought I had found the ultimate task chair to help me with household chores while seated. (I have serious issues with my legs, causing impairment to my mobility.) Sadly, that isn't the case for several reasons.First, the back will fall back to the folded position while I am trying to get seated in the chair. I ended up securing the back in the upright position with zip ties just so I could safely get into the chair. This defeats the purpose of having a fold down feature, which would have allowed me to store the chair when not being used.Second, the chair does not roll smoothly while someone is seated in it. Empty, it rolls fine, but even with a smaller than average person the wheels do not roll freely like shown on their website and here. Due the lack of arms on the chair, I find it nearly impossible to move more than an inch at a time without feeling like I am going to slide right out of the chair. I can't believe that the very slight "wood grain" of plank vinyl flooring causes so much resistance for the wheels, but it is definitely a problem.Third, as another reviewer stated, the assembly instructions are confusing as the warning label on the base is indeed upside down. I didn't figure this out until all of the wheels had been attached. I find it inexcusable for the company to have done nothing to address this error. At some point, I hope to find better wheels in order to be able to use the chair. Sending it back is not possible due to the box being destroyed while unpacking, not to mention it being fully assembled.

Will not work on anything but super smooth surface, weak frame welds will snap over time. Better wheels required. Very Cheaply made.
