This was recommended to me by my friend who has a 16 year old cat, who is in good health. It seemed like a good idea, so I tried it. I use only 1/2 scoop for my cat and her poop seems to be a healthier color and shape. Seems to work well.

I do not know if my review went through so to play safe , I will do another one.I have a 13 year old cat that I got when he was only six months old. I had always fed himHills Science Diet dry foods, so he has not really gained a lot of weight . The highest he had gained was 10 pounds. He has always been healthy all these years and he only sees his doctor once a year for a yearly check up and vaccines. Butrecently he started throwing up and did not eat that much anymore so he has lost some weight. When I brought him to the doctor he wanted to do an ultrasound and blood work. I felt that it was not necessary at that time. He gave him something for gas. I told him if it would not work I will go back forthe procedure. He gave me the medicine good for 3 days. When I got home I remembered his old doctor ( unfortunately he retired ), prescribed him Pet-Tinic vitamins since I asked him because he never gained weight and he was only bordering between 9-10 pounds. I wanted him to gain a little bit more. But after a while I stopped using it because he was healthy anyway. I ordered a bottle and while waiting I used the medicine his new doctor gave him for gas. It helped and when his Pet-Tinic came I started using it on him. He began to eat better and his coat began to look better too but his throwing up did not stop completely. So I searched from my only shopping place, AMAZON , for supplement that would help stop his vomiting . I found a lot but I found yours to be highly rated. I read the reviews and found that some of the cats that was helped by Premo ProBiotic had the same problem as mine soI ordered one. The product came on time .at firstI was skeptical because the first day I gave it to him he threw up. But I decided to continue it and I am glad I did because for almost a week now e he has not thrown up. I mix it with his CatSure milk which I fed him through a dropper because if I leave it to him, he does not love the milk that much. This Premo Probiotic really works. I will post it on my Facebook page to help cat owners who have the same problem I had with DIEGO . Plus I like how the company does its business . I think a day after I ordered, I received an email from them inquiring my receipt of the product and asked me if I had any questions. I like that.I would like to say that I did not receive any discount ( I wish I did ) for this review but because it works , I would like my fellow cat owners who has the same problem as DIEGO to know about this product.I will continue to use this product.

Using this is still a hit-and-miss practice. My cat, Angus was having gastrointestinal problems; drops of poop instead of actual well-formed ones. The vet suggested the prescription diet [after running tests, it was determined to be a dietary problem]. Unfortunately, Angus loathes the $50 kibble. I decided on two things: introducing fiber and using probiotics. I tried a salmon oil one that just made him...well, shall we say aromatic? I tried Premo because it was tasteless. The fact is, my cat 'felt' the taste...because he wouldn't eat his food, even his favorite food was untouched after an initial taste with the probiotic in it. So...here's what I did. I mix the Premo with his fiber and use water or Cat Sip and oral syringe it. Now, I know, it's not fun to give any kind of meds to a cat but I'm lucky that Angus will take meds; not sure if its his temperament [he's very laid-back] or that I give him a treat after. The Premo has started to work; he doesn't feel the need to go after eating and the fiber is working with it to help his stool become nearly normal. There is a small scoop in the container that gets lost. I actually wrote to the manufacturer complaining there was no scoop and they explained it ends up settling into the powder during shipping. I think they should attach it to the lid; like those snap-off kind of spoon in small ice cream containers. I use half a scoop in the morning and half in the evening. That seems to keep him more 'regular' than one scoop in the morning. By the way, I also keep a log on the kinds of food he eats to find things that are easily digestible but do not contribute to giving him loose stools.
