Your cart is empty.This is a solid brass casement window adjuster used on old style wood casement or awning windows. The bracket on the end of the brass rod attaches to the bottom frame of the casement or awning window and slides through a brass mechanism mounted on the window sill as it is opened. To hold the window open at any given point, the knurled knob on top of the brass mechanism is tightened and the rod and window is then held in place.

Appears to be well-made, but oddly there were no instructions included. I used two of these for an old awning type window (hinged at top, swings out and up). I used one on the left side and the other on the right since the sash is relatively wide. They replaced some wooden clap-trap mechanism that had long since disappeared. I am pleased with these but I had to figure out how to use and install them. Alignment appears to be important and a hint or two would have been appreciated. I am not certain that I found the best way but they work well and look good. If they had instructions, I would have given 5 stars.

This is a real brass casement window extender, not a cheap knock-off. It's reasonably well made. The tolerances of the mechanism are fairly loose, which can be both good and bad: a better quality device would have tighter tolerances, but with loose tolerances, this device is more forgiving of a less than perfect installation, as the play in the device overcomes minor errors in installation.It does appear to be real brass, and reasonably sturdy, and I expect it will function well for a long time. I got a 12" version (that's what was available at a reasonable price), but in general I think a 10" version would be preferable.

Son de bronce macizo, estan bien elaborados los ajustadores, aparentemente son robustos y aunque limitan la apertura de las ventanas, evitan que estas se estrellen cuando hay mucho viento, para los que nos gusta tener las ventanas abiertas este sistema es el mas practico y me ha funcionado de forma adecuada, aunque fue un poco complicado adaptarlos a mis ventanales de metal.
