The hole for the threaded screw has a burr (hole drilling leftover) that ENTIRELY prevents product from being inserted onto the mating window spline.2 handles came in this package, both had this problem. Really, factory? This is such a basic error, super frustrating.

Product seemed nice at first, nice heft to it, good paint, knob moved easily. However, flashing from the casting process of the gear had not been cleaned properly, leaving debris and oversized teeth inside the 3/8” fitting. Because of this, it did not fit on my crank gear. This was easily remedied with a small screw driver and a properly sized grinding stone on a Dremel tool, and it fits now and works well.

Our Andersen window crank arm snapped off. I ordered this replacement and had trouble at first getting the handle all the way on. I looked into the handle and some of the metal channels had leftover pieces blocking the channels that were cast to fit the window part. I almost gave up on the handle but then decided to just try tapping/pounding into place (no tools). It went right on and the set screw was fine. The crank arm works great. The extra effort helped me get another arm that was loose, back on. Still rating 5 stars since it works like it’s supposed to work. Just a little painful to install.

Our den has been missing 2 of these on the windows since we moved into the house! I didn't think of ever find any to fit since these Andersen windows are from the 70s but these actually do! I've seen a lot of reviews saying these don't fit their andersen windows, first you have to make sure it's the right size (duh), second loosen the screw that's at the bottom to ensure it has room to wiggle on, third you do actually have to push to get it on its not just going to slide on because then it'd have a loose fit. Anyways, super happy to finally have window cranks!

I was selling my house and some of the crank handles in my living room and bedroom downstairs were either cracked or the teeth in the rotating spindle had worn out. These fit the bill perfectly and were improvement on the plastic ones that were original in the house since they are made of aluminum.

Said it was for the year span of my Anderson windows... it's not. The teeth of the gears are too tight and don't fit. Gah. Not too expensive of an attempt. Good, heavy, solid window cranks and if they worked, it would be amazing. I'll keep shopping... these might work for someone else and they are really nice.

We got these free windows, and one of them didn't have a window crank. Ambition windows would clean them all up and put them in our greenhouse for a building. And it worked perfect. There was some shavings up inside. I had to clean out with tweezers Once I set it on the window, it didn't go down all the way. I took a rubber Mallet and tapped on it, went down and fit perfect. Since I don't want it to come off. the color match perfect.

This was a perfect fit for the patio door. Cost a lot less than calling someone in to replace the handle.

Amazing, there is a little screw that allows you to adjust to the size of the window operator,
