Your cart is empty.Eye screws feature a closed loop on one end, which makes them useful for securing wiring, rope, cable, chain and etc. The other end features lag screw threading and must be installed into wood studs for maximum holding power. As with lag screws, holes should be pre-drilled. It is very important to choose the proper screw eye for your application based on load requirements.

I purchased these to make a clothes line on my back porch. I hung my first load of clothes on a 15' wire and the darn Eye lags bent!! Disappointed to say the least.

I saw on a Q&A that the inside diameter was > 1" however on the ones I got it is only 3/4". Won't work for my purposes.

I haven't used these yet, as I need to drill pilot holes in tree limbs for bird feeders. But they appear to be well made, and will hold up under the weight of even the chubbiest birds.

I used these to secure the irrigation lines in my flower pots. It keeps squirrels from pulling out the irrigation tubes.

The measured diameter was 1/4". The length was 8" however so they get 2 stars. So many Chinese products are misadvertised.

Not 3/8” in diameter (0.375”), but actually 0.29”. Ordered same product (same manufacturer and part number) 10 months ago and even though not a full 3/8” in diameter, they were closer (0.35”). Product will break at threads (i.e. twist off) while installing, if not carefull.
