The product is exactly as advertised, with a nice finish and clean threads. It surpassed my expectations, and I believe it would be hard to find anything better at a hardware store. I used it to hang a sun shade sail in my backyard, and it worked brilliantly.

This is a great set of solidly made eye screws for various projects. We are using them to put in the corners of our soil/compost sifter. It will help hold it up high enough for my wife to sift and make her own potting soil. They are easily screwed into the wood with or without predrilled holes. I prefer the predrilled, but these are sharp enough you don't need to. We will have one left over and I plan to use it to hold something hanging in my workout area out back. GREAT solid product

You would think ordering a screw eye would be a simple task, but sometimes you have to look for quite a while to fine just the right one to hang very heavy iron, flower-filled baskets on the deck and porch beams. Finally, I came across this great carbon steel screw eye the exact size I needed. It will hold up to 250 pounds, which is a good bit more than my particular needs. These screw eyes look and feel substantial, and perform the same way.The dimensions of these screw eyes provided in the Amazon listing were spot on and the description of the finish was exactly what I received. I was looking for a screw eye with a black matte finish to match the iron chain and black matte finish of the hanging baskets.Since I live in an area with with all four seasons, I really appreciate the fact that Wright Products screw eye is weather resistant and is not going to rust. In the spring and summer, the hanging baskets will be filled with beautiful flowering plants. But when winter arrives I want to fill the hanging baskets with artificial poinsettias, so it is important that the iron of the baskets, chain and screw eye is rust resistant.Wright Products does offer a 10 and 20 pack of these eye screws and I expect to be ordering more. This is a very durable and well made product.

I have many outdoor hanging plants and decorations. These are very solid screw eyes that should last for many years outdoors without deteriorating from the elements. You need a good sized pilot hole to get them started. The X-coating should prevent corrosion, they do not say what X-coating is, it looks like black paint. These are more than sufficient for almost any hanging plant.

I like these because of the coating applied at the factory, I am using these to hang a line between two trees and I needed something that won't rust. These are awesome.

I can’t speak to the advertised weight rating, but these are thick/sturdy and seem to be well made.

Not sure what X-coat is, but each screw eye came attached to its own display card. High end product with lots of information available on the card. Most of the bits and pieces of hardware I get from Amazon are tossed into a bag and dropped on my front porch. These are really nicely packaged for retail sale, shipped in a box with separators (presumably not to scratch the black X-coating), and then arrived in a padded Amazon package.I was so excited to get these beautiful screw eyes, that I ran outside and replaced one of the small and rusty ones we use to hang plants along the front porch. It says not to use these to hold weight from overhead, but they are beefy and thick enough to hold some potted ferns. I don't think I would use them for a porch swing though. They look much nicer than my old ones. I suggest drilling a pilot hole because these are thick with large threads and the tip is not extremely sharp. I have replacing the other 4 old ones with these later today to look forward to.
