Great exercise for muscles in your shin. Make sure you have the larger circle opening weight plates.

This Tib Bar is of good quality, the best aspect of it is the collar to be honest while the rest of it is good quality, it's nothing to get too excited about. The pads are on the slimmer side and the olympic plate area is as expected.

So this thing is weird. I originally bought it to do leg extentions not the calves extensions. It's very weird having to do the extensions if you are used to doing these on the bench or machine. But it's like doing barbell squats instead of doing it on a smith machine.Very easy to out together and everything dit fine. Seems like really good quality as well.

Once assembled, this is a Tibialis Bar that was made to last a lifetime. It was easy to assemble, and it's built like a tank, with very solid construction. I am a BIFL (Buy It For Life) type consumer; I enjoy making one and done type purchases, where quality craftsmanship and durable construction virtually guarantees that I'll never have to replace what it is I am buying. This Tibialis bar fits solidly within that category for me. In general, this is a great piece of equipment for strengthening the dorsiflexors of the ankle, Tibialis anterior being the primary mover through dorsiflexion of the ankle joint. You can do something roughly equivalent by placing a dumbbell between your feet at the end of a bench, and of course you have the option of utilizing a hip sled similarly, through RROM ankle dorsiflexion. However, both of these alternatives are makeshift and subpar to a dedicated piece of equipment expressly made for this purpose. Succinctly, if you want to develop your shins, get a Tibialis bar. It's worth it, and it's still pretty rare to find this type of dedicated equipment in a typical gym. If you suffer from chronic shin splints, there is no better way of tackling that malady than through progressive resistance training, specifically resisted range of motion dorsiflexion of the ankle, and this piece of equipment is a solid option for that undertaking. I solidly recommend this. I've been using this Tibialis bar myself, and have seen stellar progress thus far.

Make sure to sit high is possible. A taller stool or chair will give proper and easier clearance from hitting the floor during workout

The quality of this product is great. Does what it says. Very comfortable to use as the sponge is good quality. All round a recommended buy worth spending that little more for better quality
