Seriously people read the directions or hire a professional. It's just a toilet seat.Plastic protective film is blue. Simply peel off to reveal stainless metal.

My hubby likes it and he weighs near 300 lbs. So good for the price! Like the quiet close and ease of cleaning. Warm and smooth surface feels good and a safe surround for any size!

Directions to install are not clear. And once you figure out the installation, it is not easy and the hardware is cheap.They included BLUE ugly covers that were not mentioned in the product’s description or photos.We are NOT going to use this and are purchasing a different brand. Good luck!

The screw is not long enough so the bolt needs to go inside the hole and that makes it impossible to install I had to scavenge a much longer screw. The cover is bright blue instead of white.update: the seller contacted and offered a refund, so it might have been an honest mistake - though the bolts still need to be probably half an inch longer...

I’m really impressed with this toilet seat! It was easy to install, and the slow-close feature works perfectly—no more slamming. The hinges stay tight and don’t loosen over time, which is a big plus. The white color looks clean and sleek. Definitely a solid, reliable choice. Highly recommend!

It is definitly not a bad seat, its setup steps are kind of complicated, though. It needs more patience to figure out how to installment. But the set-up took me like just 5 minutes, from mounting, aligning, screwing tight and insert the cover to the aligned poles.I guess the complicated installment is to make the distance between the two mounting holes adjustable. Because this is a replacement, not an original brand one.Anyway, the seat feels steady with slow closure speed cover, looking a little bit fancier as compared to my outdated American standard toilet. If you don't mind the blue mounting cover (you might not use it, leaving it as black) this is a great replacement for the popular brand toilet.
