I should have gone with the wooden seat a long time ago. By far better than any plastic or fake wooden ones. I can close the lid, put a towel on it, then sit on it after a shower so I can apply moisturizer. Living in the south west desert is extremely dry on ones skin...

Without a contortionist available to install this unit on some American Standard toilets it would seem doomed to fail. I am looking for a new hinge to replace the one on the new unit. It requires top mounting hardware. I like the seat but it is of limited value without being safely installed on a toilet.

This seat is exactly what I have been looking for! It is designed for a more comfortable fit, not too narrow as most seats are, but a more rounded fit, and a nice solid build, perfect! Easy to assemble and I am happy! Highly recommended!

Writing a reviews on this is a bit weird. It has one purpose and these things have not changed or needed a change for a hundred of years!This one works and it does it well. Nicely built and stays in place (I hate ones that slide back and forth or in / out so annoying).Nice job team! I really liked the looks of this toilet seat, and the color was perfect for our bathroom. However, after various surgeries, we have to usa a riser on our toilet. Unfortunately, this seat will not work with that. We have spent a lot on various rods, wing nuts, and washers trying to make it work. Nothing did. So we are having to throw out this not-inexpensive seat and opt for one we don't like as much, but will work with the riser. I'll give it a "1" for looks, but cannot give a higher rating for something that is going into the trash.

I admired this toilet seat every day and everyone remarked that it was very nice.I always put the seat top down gently and I instructed visitors to do so as well.Tonight I lifted the whole thing to clean it and noticed the right side metal hinge snapped right in the middle where the screw is.Very disappointed. I never loved a toilet seat as much as I did this one. So elegant and matches my mirror.Will have to get a toilet seat if I can't fix itUPDATE: still struggling with this. Taped it , have to retape every day. I gave up.

Great looking and sturdy until it wasn't. We really liked this toilet seat until the hinge snapped and broke, right in the middle of the hinge. We are hoping to be able to order a replacement hinge, as we first started using this seat right around Thanksgiving. Disappointed.REVIEW UPDATEThe seller sent me a message after my review. They were nice enough to immediately send us a new replacement toilet seat after we sent photos of the hinge. They were so easy to work with, and we really appreciated the courteous way they treated us and the speed (2 days) to receive the replacement. We would definitely buy from them again.REVIEW UPDATE Unfortunately, we are reviewing this toilet seat once again for the same reason as before. The hinge has broken in the same spot as last time. We don't expect to have you repeatedly sending new hinges each time one breaks, but we would appreciate it if we could purchase a couple of them from you now, to take care of this one now and in case we need another one. 通常のトイレより重くて作りもしっかりしていて高級感があります。ただしおそらくアメリカのトイレの規格向けに作られているようでなかなかこの便座がぴったり使えるトイレは日本にはない気がします。そこが残念です。ぜひ日本向けの規格でも製造して欲しいです。
