Does what it's supposed to. Cuts pretty well for short runs.

This works great in drainage swanks we use in our property. We put the seed down with this over it to make sure the solid doesn’t wash away. It holds the soil through the heavy rains long enough for the grass to grow and take over. The straw geeks down pretty well but I fear how long the plastic netting will be there for.

Used to cover our side yard that is sloped and was washing away every time the lawn sprinklers ran after I tore out some hedges. They held the topsoil I put in place for the grass seed until everything grew in. Was a lifesaver honestly and wouldn't hesitate to use again.

Very Disappointed in the product & the seller! The product I received was very thin and mostly plastic netting. There was very little straw. It was a waste of money. I tried to work with the vendor. they wanted me to wrap it up and return it. Seriously! After you unroll it up there is no way to get it back together unless they want it back in one a net ball. Disappointed in the quality of the product and the vendors response. I paid $90 ($45x2 rolls) and received basically plastic netting worth less than $10. To give you an idea the roll came wrapped in thin plastic wrap. I am still going to reach out to Amazon & my CC to see if I can get a resolution.Wish I could return it. I thought about taking a sample and putting in an envelope but the vendor wasn't willing to work with us. I'm not paying to package it up and send it back already wasted $90 for worthless netting.Do not buy this.

The straw is too thick in many areas to allow new grass to penetrate. Had to pull it up so the grass could grow, and this pulls much of the new grass out by the roots. If you are looking for something to use for an erosion or seed cover for new grass, look elsewhere.

I thought this would jave had more straw material and be woven tighter. The straw was literally falling out of the plastic mesh leave huge bare spots. I would not purchase this again and found it to be a waste of money.
