Mulch glue, mulch anchor five commonly asked questions with simple explanations:

Applying thick layers of rubber mulch glue at once can result in improper curing, causing opacity and white/blue residue. It's better to apply several thin coats instead.

  • 2. Poor adhesion of mulch glue max?

To get a strong adhesion of gravel glue, apply 2 to 3 coats of mulch, and let the first coat dry for 24 hours or until it's completely dry before adding the second coat.

  • 3. Unable to spray of this rock glue for landscaping? Doesn't work in sprayer?

If you encounter low sprayer pressure or thickening of the adhesive over time, in which case you can dilute it with 20 to 50 percent water. (Note: Clean the mulch glue sprayer right after using it to prevent glue from hardening and causing blockages.)

  • 4. Drying and curing problems of this mulch glue for rocks?

  • It would depend on your usage. A good application, on to a free draining stable base would be expected to last 24 months. We would recommend to top up annually.

  • Yes, This landscape rock glue is non-toxic, and completely safe for kids and pets. We do recommend keeping kids and pets away from the treated area for 24-48 hours until the product has dried completely.

  • Do not apply Mulch glue when there is a chance of rain within 24-48 hours. If the rain compromised the product, we recommend reapplying the product when rain is not predicted in for three days.

  • We would recommend between 4mm and 10mm diameter for the best bond. But you can use stones up to 15mm and still achieve good

results. Even larger stones can be bonded if clean and angular.

Was going to buy a more expensive brand but hesitantly went with this one. I am amazed at how well this worked. It is very important to wash the stones off very well before using. I mixed it with 1/4 inch gravel before laying it down. I then put two more coats with a sprayer. Each time 24 hours apart. Follow directions and don't take shortcuts. Oh yeah. I mixed it about 20 percent water and 80 percent Rock Glue before using. Came out of sprayer good with this mixture.

Here are before and after pictures of the difference the rock glue has made. I sprayed 2 coats of Rock glue and it really works, it keeps the rocks together and also makes them shiny and brightens up the colors and helps prevent the weeds from growing through. Works great need to buy more to finish all around my house.
