Passes the square test (draw a line with it, flip it over and see how it matches the line when approaching from the other side). Has helped my conversion to metric for my woodworking. I really like the little pencil holes for layout. Ridge to brace against your work piece is of decent size without being excessive. Easy to recommend.

Seems accurate and quality, and comes with a mechanical pencil to fit in the marking holes. Great for small detailed work

Bought this square due frustration of trying to save on my tools and finding nothing but duds from other brands.I usually buy Woodpecker but they are very expensive and I am on a journey to save more money but finding the best tools to get the accuracy and finish for my projects.I recently bought the WEN square based on a youtube review and also got this one and guess which is going back....I am keeping this one and happy I did not spend over $100 on a nice and dead on square.Recommend it.

Just to say, I hang out on Amazon a little and I have been asked to write reviews on the past. This is the first time I have felt compelled to respond to a purchase. I am gradually migrating to metric (so much easier). These squares are outstanding. I have used to 300mm fo a few days and the 200mm since yesterday. They are dead accurate, stylish, and the workmanship is on par with any other brand lat I own. I own a few WP and Starrett layout and measurement tools and I do wish the blade were maybe a few ounces heavier. Rating: 5

This is a fine product. It is perfectly square, it is pretty well, anodized, and it is functionally great. It has little holes so that you can scribe straight lines on the body of the square. However, I am returning it because I am not impressed with the value for the money. at $80 or $90 or whatever it’s at, I would rather much pay $30-$40 more for a woodpecker’s square. This square is great, but the machining compared to the woodpecker’s square is not as great. And anodizing is also not as high-quality as the WoodPeckers unit. If I were to use the woodPeckers square as a standard, I would say that this square should be priced around $40. The wood Peckers square is much heftier, it is thicker, it comes with a case, its anodizing is much nicer and smoother, and it’s machining is much nicer and smoother.Functionally, this unit is fine, but it feels so good to have a really high-quality tool to use. It is inspiring, in fact to have a high-quality tool, because mentally, it raises your standard for your own work.

My 300 mm Starrett combination square is very accurate and versatile but I needed something smaller as well. I got the 200 mm version of this square. It did not fall short in accuracy and it turned out to be my go to square unless I needed the extra length (or the versatility) of my combination square. However, something even smaller would be more convenient for me in many cases, provided that it is as accurate. The 100 mm version is the very thing. It is a perfectly square precision tool and a delight to use. It is now my go to square that reminds me how often I was using a bulkier square than I actually needed. As a matter of fact, I could not do with only a 100 mm square but ironically, it is the one that I now use the most. I can recommend it to those who need a very accurate small square.

After realizing none of my current squares were not meeting their basic function (square) I started searching for what was out there.A Woodpeckers square was out of the question it would take six months to arrive and adds up to three times the cost once all shipping and dollar conversion has taken place.I came across this product by chance the main draw card for me is the shoulder on the main stock that allows the square to rest on the work piece (same as Woodpeckers)Theres not much information out there but what I could find was enough to make the purchase. The square arrive pretty quickly. At first I thought the square was off I did a number of test and came back with the same result it was only after I got a Drill pro square from banggood I realized my test surface was off.once I swapped out my test surface I found the square was perfect.I would recommend this square based off my current findings. If I can I'll report back after some decent use.

It's hard to spend $90 on a square when you can get nearly 10 of them at that price from a home improvement store. This is absolutely worth it. I should have bought better measuring tools like this when I started woodworking. I would have saved myself a lot of frustration. The quality is good. I could see the numbers being hard to read if your eyesight isn't great. The pencil holes are fantastic for laying out screw or dowel holes, but they're not precise enough for joinery (use a marking gauge for that stuff).Of course, you could spend more on measuring tools (like the red ones)... but black looks cooler and I don't know if you'd actually gain anything.

I wanted to get this square because it seemed to have a lot of benefits, it combines the best of the Woodpeckers square and the Incra marking rulers with the holes, and at this price I had to give it a try. It squares up perfectly to my Woodpecker 851 and all my Faithful machinist squares so it is definitely just as accurate as the pricier ones. Its very easy to read and the pencil that comes with it is comparable to both the Incra and Woodpecker pencils. Definitely not as beefy as the Woodpecker squares but thats the trade off if you want the marking holes I suppose. Even so It still is very sturdy and doesn’t bend at all with pressure so I’m not worried about it bending or breaking if I drop it. This is now my go to square for the majority of my marking and measuring plus for squaring up my work and my blades and fences. Great buy, no regrets.
