It is strong and sands perfectly. I've had other disc sanders that didn't do good - this one acts like it was built to shape properly.

Very nice practical tool. Has many good features for the price. The only significant shortcoming I can point out is the power switch is very difficult to operate. They need to harden the switch and do away with the dust protection. It is too important a feature to scrimp. The only other thing is the miter bar is fairly cheap - but I didn't expect perfection on a short money tool. if you are just starting out, or need a small sander for a specific part of your process, this is a very nice choice.

Read the manual first and got it put together in an hour. Fairly quiet for a power tool. My use will be very light duty work.

je viens de la recevoir, peut on attendre un 6 mois, oui c'est facile à utiliser, oui c'est polyvalent et je ne sais pas si sa qualité vaut son prix (PETIT PRIX PETITE QUALITÉ ?) Il remplace le même genre d'outil . . . ce sont des OUTILS MINIATURES avec des capacités MINIATURES, ils doivent être utilisé avec "délicatesse" sans jamais les faire forcer indûment. Poncer délicatement, je l'utilise principalement pour aiguiser, couteaux, ciseaux à bois, outils ge jardin, toujours "DÉLICATEMENT" (c'est plus rapide qu'à la main)

Very good little belt sander for knife makers beginner. Powerfull enough and not noisy at all. Belts are a bit pain in the... to change though, since you need to have all the side of the sander removed to acces the belt. Appart for that its a 5 stars overall. for the price you will not find better. Im totally recommending it

This is my third belt sander and for light delicate work its perfect for shaping but beyond that not really. Works great as a knife sharpener.

Does a quick job of sharpening every thing. Just wish you didn't have to use a screwdriver to disassemble each belt change.

Love the sand lay out build quality is great. However missing the 3 small screws needed to attach the vac. to disk sander.I hope they will send as matching thread size will mean taking machine to size the correct screws.

I use a 1x30 sander commercially, so it runs for hours a day. Delta tools aren't the quality they used to be, so I tried this one. I have spent more, but this one is as good as any I've bought (about 4 so far). Solid build, runs smoothly, and a belt change takes seconds.
