This thing is smooth and quiet. I hooked a shopvac to the port on the back and it removes sanding dust really well. This thing does an amazing job. I'm very happy. I've used it alot in the few weeks I've had it.

Bought this as a starter for knife grinds. It’s not its intended purpose but is working great for while I’m learning. Holding tracking well, belts are easy to change, and very simple to operate. I plan on getting a larger sander eventually but I think I’ll still keep this one around

Right out of the box one can tell that this is not a cheap plastic bench-sander wannabee. I used a cheaper sander for several years and when it expired I was almost relieved; I could now buy a really good sander. The previous equipment leaked dust out of and into the belt chamber, the belt was immune to tracking properly, it was LOUD, and it required fastening to the bench to keep it in the game. Bucktool starts right off showcasing a strong metal enclosure for the machinery. It has a solid stance on the work table. The belt change is easier than you could hope for. The belt behaves and tracks well and is sensitive to tiny adjustments with the track knob. Just to add to the features I've noted. there is a long bolt secured to the underside of the belt table serving as an adjustable support for what, in most lesser models, would be an unpleasant tendency to tip forward with the slightest pressure on the edge. The icing on the cake is that it costs only $25 more than a same-model replacement of the original tool. Less noise, great sanding, reasonable price, why aren't America's home woodshops full of Bucktools?

I bought this one because I liked the idea of the belt cover that opens easily. Both the belt and the disk work well for my hobby needs, though I think with some care, the belt sander could be used on metal as well as wood. Just don't expect the miter gauge to give you accurate angles on the disk sander. The fit in the slot is too sloppy.

Changing the belts could have been made easier, but other than that, the sander is excellent. It does the job for me for my wood working hobby. I recommend it. good value for the money.

Small and compact unit that seems to be of decent quality. The table for the disk isn't all that easy to move to get to angle because there is only one mounting slot so you have to apply correct pressure of it will bind although the knob is completely loose.I left three stars because of one simple, low cost part that SHOULD have come with the unit but didn't. The unit desperately needs a ratcheting bolt for the belts table. All they give you is an Allen head bolt so you need to use a hex wrench any time you want to adjust the tables angle. They sell these on Amazon for $3 and I'll be ordering one when I confirm the size.Other than that everything looks good.
