No Tool Blade Change
Step 1
Turn the tension handle to "UNLOCK".
Step 2
Set the blade into both guide bearings, making sure the blade is centered on them.
Step 3
Hold the blade on the guides and push in. Make sure the blade evenly fits around the wheels
Step 4
Turn the tension handle to "LOCK".

I read some reviews that said they had to shim things to get this saw to cut square but I checked mine after assembly with a square and it was great, so great that after cutting a piece of 1 inch hex stock, it only to .020 inch to true it up in my lath.

The saw works well so far, as a hand held motorized hack saw. It would work well as chop saw if whoever designed the base could figure the correct angle to machine on the saw mounting surface of the swing arm, so that the saw cut material square to the vice. The vice has some adjusting screws to square it with the saw but they don't have enough travel. 'The vice is kind of clever but I worry about the knurled shaft that holds the moving jaw, will it hold when the knurling wares off? I was able to square the cut by putting washers under one of the saw mounting screws but this made all 3 of the mounting screws on the swing arm bine up. Some day may take it apart and machine the swing arm correctly.

I bought this one over the ones like it because it had a clamp that could be adjusted to square the saw. It did require some adjustment to make it cut square, but the adjustment was there. It did reasonably well cutting 3x4x0.250. 4in is the max width, don't plan on cutting wider than that.Overall I am happy with the saw. I bought this rather than an abrasive cutoff saw. While this is slower, the finish of the cut is better. And it will cut a wider variety of materials.

Pretty happy with this bandsaw! Cuts Sumer smooth, not too loud and I do like the portable feature. Not sure if I would use it but still a nice feature. If I could pick a few things that would make this nicer… I would say the adjustment settings on the base could definitely be revamped for more accurate cuts. The base clamp is ok too, works as it should but wouldn’t mind seeing a more user friendly way for adjustments. Just seems like it could be more precise. Besides that, great addition to my garage.

Did you ever buy a tool and then say to yourself "Why did i not get this tool years ago?" this is that tool. Now i am not using this tool as for industrial use, however it appears that I could use it for a whole project and save tons of time. Why would I ever go back to my hand held grinder? only for reasons that this wont fit. Worth the money.

I assembled the saw to the base and realize there is no lock down mechanism. If it had one, that would make it much easier to carry in and out of vehicles like a mitre saw.Apart from that, it a very nice saw.
