I use this metal coffee filter every single day, and it’s been a total game-changer! It brews a great cup of coffee, is easy to clean, and is much more sustainable than using disposable paper filters. While I do have to replace it about once a year, it’s still a better long-term option in terms of cost and waste reduction.The mesh is fine enough to prevent most coffee grounds from getting through, and the design works well with my coffee maker. Cleaning is a breeze—just rinse and go! If you're looking for an eco-friendly, hassle-free alternative to paper filters, this is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

Excellent! Just what I needed for downsizing from the 12 cup machine I had. I enjoy coffee, but don't drink it as much as I used to. It can hold about 6 cups of coffee. The filter is marvelous, no grinds in the carafe. I love that it takes up much less counter space, and I can easily store it in the cupboard. Never going back to a bulky electric coffee maker.

This pour over set works great for my morning pour over coffee. Some things to note are that it steeps slowly when I’m trying to brew pre-ground coffee -the water drips through so slowly that it could take more than 6-8 minutes just to finish 4-5 cups! So I like to grind the beans myself on my OXO burr grinder at setting 9 out of 15, which is a bit more coarse than medium.Another note is that the cork doesn’t keep the coffee hot for long, so to reheat it, you could put it on a stovetop for a bit.I pour the used ground beans into a plastic Tupperware and use that to spread around my garden. Rinse the filter out after use as well!

Well made but I wish they would make these with large silicon wraps instead of leather. While leather looks super nice, for a daily use item silicon will get better mileage and be easier to use. The cork lid fits well and the filter works great.I do recommend if anyone is having issues with flow rate, grind your coffee more coarse the larger the chunks the easier it is for the water to flow though it.

Glass is thick and solid. Able to take the heat. Overall good product.Wish the filter had less holes so the coffee sits longer. But, that’s a personal preference.The leather holder works, but can get hot at times… Likely a handle of some sort would be better.

I was looking for a functional yet attractive coffee maker so that I could keep it out and not to have store it out of sight.The Kavako coffee maker looks even better in person than in the photos.The attractive leather sleeve is top quality and the color is perfect and would complement any kitchen decor.The glass/pyrex carafe is sturdy and easy to clean and the filter is the best I’ve used when comparing to any other pour over coffee filter I’ve used in the past.Finally, their customer service is superb! I had a small issue (my fault not theirs) and they couldn’t have been more accommodating or professional.I highly recommend the Kavako coffee maker. It checks all the boxes for form, function and fantastic customer service.
