Just the right height for help getting into van. Folds flat takes up hardly any room. It will not fold up until picked up. I weigh 250 and I can stand on it with both feet. Would buy again if needed.

This folding 5 inch step stool is very useful for my 97 year old Mom who needs to climb in and out of a van. She has no problem stepping on to the stool which is sturdy and folds down to store inside the van. It is just high enough for her to step on especially with a recent hip replacement surgery a few months ago. It is very versatile and can be used inside the house for various situations such as stepping into a bathtub, climbing on to a high bed or even resting feet while watching tv or colouring. The plastic stool is solidly built and doesn't slide around when open. It can hold a heavy person up to 300 pounds. The non-slip texture on top creates enough grip for easy access. This is useful for all ages and for reaching higher cupboards etc.

I was looking for a low profile stool for my toddler boy to use during potty training. This is very sturdy and is the right height for a 2.5-3 year old boy. It stands on its own while folded so it is easy to put away. It was however a bit heavier than expected, but I wouldn't trade it for the sturdiness.

I bought this step for my mom so she can use it to make it easier to climb into taller vehicles. Her knees are almost shot and It works great for that. It is not very tall however and I wouldn't want to use it for getting into cabinets or anything of the sort. If you need something shorter than a standard step stool, this is it. It is sturdy and gets the job done. I recommend it.

I’m short and use this stool to step up into my husband’s truck. It’s the perfect stepping stool. I like the width which makes standing on It with both feet easy. It’s sturdy enough.

I like it and think it's easy and works well. However, I'm not the primary user. We use it on the ground to help a short, slightly disabled adult to get into a SUV. She feels it is flimsy and she makes her nervous. I've stood and jumped on it and I think it's completely fine. But, I'm not the one to use it.

This stool is a nice height for stepping in and out of the bathtub and gaining a few inches in front of the bathroom sink to see more of my reflection in the mirror on the medicine chest. (Everything is a bit tall for a 5'3" person!) The stool sags just a bit in the center, and I'm well under half the weight of the 300-pound limit, but overall, it is a decent product.
