As noted in other reviews, this device is not powerful enough to clean. The stream is strong when the batteries are fresh, but the strength is inconsistent and after about a month the "low" and "high" settings are not that different. I've had better success when refilling the tank multiple times, but this isn't feasible in public. If you let it run only once, it just spreads the particles around. It's better to wipe with toilet paper first, use this to rinse, then wipe to dry. Words fine if you have dry/hard/constipated movements, but it not great for BMs that are medium density or less. Sometimes I just use a regular squirting water bottle. There's not much difference between that and this product.

I read the reviews and I wasn’t expecting a very strong water stream, but the stream is so weak that it’s really not worth using it - until I changed the batteries and this improved significantly, (oops they were supposedly new batteries too!)It does a job, but that job is no where near as good as a plumbed bidet. If you can’t change your plumbing, then this will be your next best option.

This product has nowhere near the strength of a bidet connected to real plumbing, which was what I was (unrealistically) hoping for. For what it is, the strength is decent and can get the basics of the job done. I think this would be a really amazing gentle option for postpartum! It folds up nice and compact for travel and is easy to disassemble to clean. Part of it being so small means you sacrifice a bit of the water tank capacity, so it works well in smaller bathrooms where the toilet is close to the sink!

I liked this device quite a lot. I was ready to buy more for each bathroom when the motor lost its "oomph" . I tried multiple new batteries to no avail. Very disappointed. It's useless at this point.UPDATE: The company was concerned that I was having a problem and generously sent me a new one. So far so good! Will update later after enough time has gone by to see if this motor works for a longer period. Grateful so far!ANOTHER UPDATE;: iI have now been using the replacement device that was sent to me for several weeks and the motor is still working well. I am very hopeful this will continue. I tried a different travel bidet and it was way inferior to this one. I am very happy with it now and again will plan to buy more. The company stood behind their product and it is very good. Totally happy now.

I love this bidet. I’ve ordered it 3 times. Only problem is that after about 3 months it stops working. I’ve had to replace 3 times already and it just stopped working again after only having it for 3.5 months. I like that it’s portable and I can take it on travels with me I just wish it lasted longer

It is high quality and compact so you can stick it in your purse no problem. My take on it is that it is not very easy to get the are out of the socket to extend it. Also the water pressure is not high enough even when set on high. Other than this, works great!
