My daughter has a full bidet in Washington State. Raves about it. A friend of mine has a travel kit, loves it. So I did my research and bought this model primarily because of the extended reach. It seemed logical since I couldn't figure out how to get a huge bottle between my legs with a closed front seat. Now for the review. Pros: easy to reach the correct area. Small enough to carry. Feels great! Cons: doesn't save on toilet paper. May soften area to be cleaned but same amount of paper is needed. Apparently more intense pressure is needed than this can provide, not sure. In reality, why bother because you still need the same amount of toilet paper whether you use this or not. If you think this will replace toilet paper, it won't! Feels great, does little of nothing. Get a real in line plumbing one with pressure. Don't waste your money on portables.

I'm one of the people who likely went out and purchased this in a panic after all of the stores started running out of toilet paper and the storefronts had trouble keeping reasonably priced bidets in stock. So you're likely wondering - can this replace toilet paper?Well... the answer is ultimately no, at least not this specific handheld bidet. That doesn't mean that this isn't useful, however.The main issue I had with this was that the pressure was pretty low. The nozzle head has so many holes that it's hard to really get good pressure here. As such, I don't feel like this really cleaned as well as I'd imagine a regular bidet or some other handheld bidets would. The water also flows out of the nozzle head when it's held upside down or at too steep of an angle, so that may pose a small issue for some or when you're in a place with limited water access.The good here is that as soon as you get used to the nozzle length and angling, this is pretty easy to figure out. I was also able to fill it with warm water, which is also a bonus. I don't see where the warm water had any negative impact on the bottle. It's also very easy to squeeze, which will be beneficial for users who have weaker grips.Afterwards I still needed to use toilet paper since this didn't clean fully, however I will note that I needed to use less so that's a bonus in its own way. The warm water also felt heavenly, so I'm honestly kind of puzzled why bidets aren't more popular here in the US. Maybe all of this will help them catch on over here. I know I certainly want one now.Ultimately this is something that I'd recommend when you're going number one or have diarrhea, as this could clean that up very quickly and easily, plus be fairly gentle on you. It would also be very nice for that time of the month. For regular stools, however, you're still going to need toilet paper with this. Just maybe not as much as you'd otherwise have used.

So, I really debated on whether I would review this because let's be honest this is sort of in the same department as pooping. We all know we poop but you don't really talk about it. Unless of course it's your doctor, spouse, or all of you people reading my review. Haha.Moving along....I had major surgery recently and let's just say all of the medicines they give you do not do justice to your bowels. Things don't move along so well so it can get quite uncomfortable. Add on the fact that I was having difficulties reaching around to really give my hind end the attention it deserves.When I was released from the hospital I was so worried about having to ask my family for help so I hoped right on Amazon looking for a solution. In comes this wonderful angel. No it isn't some fancy bidet that you just press a button and voila. However, it does the job and does it well. I like that you could really adjust the pressure based on how hard you squeeze the bottle. The bottle is also soft enough for anyone that maybe has difficulties with hand function and gripping it. The end is long enough that you aren't having to move or bend into an uncomfortable position because let's face it if you are using this you don't want to have to get into a crazy yoga position just to reach where it needs to go.It breaks down nicely for easy cleaning. I found it was extra nice if I used warm water when using it. If you are elderly, just had surgery or like the idea of a bidet, because they really do make sense then you can't fo wrong with this when your options are limited.

This device has literately saved my mothers life, truly. My mother is very big and has severe mobility issues due her size. She is also very incontinent both ways and has severe arthritis. With all these conditions she could not reach to clean her self at all. Though she has an aide come a few hours daily and I would also go too to help her clean up, we could not keep her clean. So since last month she has started to get sores on her bottom and upper legs. So bad she was hospitalized due to infection. The infection could lead to an amputation or even loss of her life. We could not afford to pay an aide to be there 24/7 and my mother did not want to even discuss going to live in a facility. To be truthful I do not believe they rest homes would accept her, so she would probably be facing a colostomy and catheter for the rest of her life.Thankfully with this Personal Portable Bidet AND Juvo Products Self-Assist Toilet Aid for Range of Motion Assistance, White/Blue (SAT01), Caddy. When she is alone now she can clean her self and even apply creams. I am so grateful to the people that thought up these devises. They literately save lives and definitely improve the quality of life. All the OT and PT people are thrilled with these devices and were taking pictures to suggest them to other patients they have. I also work in health care, so will suggest these devices to many of my patients with same issues too. Thank you also for keeping them at an affordable price, as most people that need these devices are of limited income. I really can not thank you all enough.
