Bringing a model and some paints to work when I know it is going to be slow. Going over to friend's or the hobby shop to paint. Or just moving from your standard set up to somewhere new to paint. This is amazing! Personally I took out one of the water cups so I can use that side to hold glue/cutters/paints/model. The blue lid bit container for subassembly. A pallete with the sponge removed for larger bits. A pallete to paint with. It's condensed my hobby space and made my painting crazy mobile!

I paint minis, that’s all I paint, I bought this to have something I tote around the house on a whim and have the majority of the things I needed nice and compact. It functions fine in this respect. The wet pallets and paper function fine and work as intended, the water and wash cups are nice and do what they market. I have no use for the paint storage containers and there really isn’t any way to convert them for use as something else based on how they are designed. You could probably keep parts all cut off the spruces inside but no acrylic bottles or containers will fit here. That’s really the only negative with this thing. You get 2 wet pallets and a large, portable water reservoir with brush holders for wet and dry application. If you need something like this it will prob work fine for you.

All those annoying ads you see about this is true. You didn’t know you needed this until you have it. This helps keep your station tidy and having an all-in-one kit like this is great! You don’t have bulky water pots and a separate tray for a wet palette and the paint trays in two of the trays I’m sure will work great for bigger projects.

I had really high hopes for this product. I was excited that everything was contained in one place and you could set it up and be on the go in no time. But I was very disappointed when I used it. First off the paper for the pallet drys out really quickly. I always soak sheets in water for a few minutes and that did nothing to help this. One of the metal clips that holds the paper and sponge down broke the first day while trying to put paper in it. My other pallets will go weeks without drying up. Great concept but needs some refinement and some changes to make it a great product. Great price for what you get and easy to move around. Great if you have a small space to paint.

UPDATE: Love it so much we ordered a second one for my son for his new commission painting buisness! He uses it every day.I'm an internationally recognized award winning miniature painter. BUT...Im also a dad who has less time to disappear into my studio and so do more and more painting and building at the kitchen table while spending time with the family . This helps keep my kit together in an incredibly well thought out package. Brushes holder, water, place for holding bits, glue & tools and a great wet palette. Let's me clean it up quickly and tuck it away easily. Love this!

I love the portability and usability of this. I love painting but with 5 kids can't always sit and paint for as long as I'd like and must often stop when I don't want to. This keeps my expensive model paints wet on between times and makes cleanup super easy. I got the 2 paint trays and 3 paper and sponge sections because I also use other mediums on the go. I am absolutely loving this.

I originally backed the Krydrufi painting station on Kickstarter. The day that this painting station was available on Amazon, I immediately picked a second one up for my significant other. I was delighted to see that the product available on Amazon was the very same, high-quality painting station I had received as a Kickstarter backer. More details below, but the TLDR is that the Krydrufi painting station is a versatile gem that cannot be recommended highly enough. I am a miniature painter, but it would work just as well for more traditional painters too.PERSONAL IMPRESSIONS:My significant other and I are avid miniature painters and have used a variety of different wet palette over the years. While the Krydrufi is smaller than other pallets I've used, it comes with two palettes for use if needed. When the sponge is saturated, miniature painting papers last a good three hours. I use the trays of paint wells to thin down washes. The lid for these trays has an exceptional seal, meaning that my thinned paints will last entire session and beyond if the lid is sealed in between uses. Each tray is thoughtfully designed so that paint does not move between the wells when the lid is on. The brush holders are also very well done. I've used them to hold everything from size 0 to midsized drybrushes. Both were easily secured, and I appreciate the option to dry brushes tip down at the end of a session.HOW I USE IT:The fact that you have two palettes also this unit ideal for painting with friends. We have an extra painting desk for friends that want to paint and don't have supplies. I have relocated one of the krydrufi wet palettes, and the two water cups to that desk so that we can all paint together. Eventually I will just buy an entire unit to put over there for convenience. My significant other and I used to paint a lot at our local game store pre-pandemic. These compact units have so much in one place, that I hope we can start doing so again without having to haul so many individual items with us. While I do not currently use the painting station for travel, it is used at home to reduce the amount of my desk used for storage after a painting session. The convenience of an all-in-one, compact unit has been so surprisingly useful that it has basically made all my other (individual) previous items duplicative. Definitely not going backPOTENTIAL CONCERNS:Quite honestly, I do not have many of these. I was originally concerned that the snaps on each try would not stand up to regular use. While the product has only been out for a little bit, that hasn't actually turned out to be a problem so far. Krydrufi customer service also addressed this concern by stating that these are made from high quality plastics like you find in car manufacturing. As such they stand up to heat and are made to withstand repeated use. Given the transparency of their company's communication, I fully believe them regarding this. My only other concern was based on the fantastic seal that the wet palette lid has. Without I had concerns that this would promote mold growth, but again this is ultimately not been the case. Krydrufi instructions say to periodically clean he wet palette with alcohol. I have instead chosen to wash the palette and sponge out every week or so with soap or hot water. Between that and adding hydrogen peroxide into my wet palette water, I've had absolutely no mold growth and no weird smells. This is really impressive as I can't say that experience has been replicated in any of the other swedish sponge based palettes I've previously used.KRYDRUFI EXCELLENCE:On Kickstarter I backed the product on a whim as it looked like it would be very handy for travel and I was really impressed by the level of attention-to-detail and customer support from Krydrufi themselves. Even before the Kickstarter finished, the company was taking feedback regarding development of a new wet pallet paper that would work best for miniature paints. They shared paint drying tests, asked questions, and actively involved miniature painters in the process. Quite honestly the sheer quality of customer support, purposeful design, and conscientious development is unequal to anything else I have seen in the miniature painting space. I am excited to see what this small company does as they continue to develop and expand their plans for this painting station.

This versatile and sturdy paints organizer is a game-changer for painters of all levels. Its space-saving design and modular options make it a must-have for any workspace. The inclusion of multiple brush holders with drip trays and separate water containers adds to its convenience. I greatly appreciate its portability, allowing me to paint anywhere without setup time. The wet paint palette feature keeps paints moist for few weeks, which is fantastic as it prevents wastage. Overall, I highly recommend this product for simplifying the painting process.
