Just what I needed, a not expensive vacuum weighted head. Works great and it was exactly as described. Fast shipping and great price

Used only a few times, still like new. On last use, black water was swirling around as I used this in a clean pool, with just leaf debris. Found black water pouring out of white caps on top. When trying to remove to inspect, I found they were glued thoroughly, but NOT COMPLETELY. I pried/broke 1 cover off to find it full of black rusty water. This is unacceptable. I would be happy to try a replacement, even if I have to perform my own "sealing", but this one is holding on seller response before it goes to trash.

For £20, great quality. It is weighted but could be a bit heavier. Make sure to push down a bit while brushing. Keep

Have not been able to use yet because the unit only come with the brush. You need to also order the hose and pole in order to use it.

Works great for my large pool. I do like that the brushes can be removed to clean the large debris stuck in between the bristles. No issues

Purchased a house with an inground pool. Needed to start from scratch with supplies. I purchased this vacuum head based on reviews and price. I thought it worked fine the first couple times I used it. But then the 20 year old pump and cartridge filter died and we needed to replace it. Ended up getting a DE filter and new pump from Hayward. Once we had that system installed the vacuum head and the Poolmaster 33435 heavy duty vacuum hose purchased with it showed its value. This is a great vacuum head and hose and I highly recommend it. It does get a little heavy to push at the deep end of the pool due to its being weighted so it does take some maneuvering. But overall it works great and I am happy with this purchase. I feel that it is a good quality.

Great product for the price. Not a knock off item. Has a good weight to it. It sinks to the bottom. I gave it 5 stars for working as it should for the price. It is worth considering spending more money and getting a better vacuum head if you have a larger pool. I have a 15 foot round pool and this is perfect for that. If your pool is larger then that. I would spend more money and get an automatic vacuum head or a vacuum head with rolling wheels just to make the vacuuming experience faster and more enjoyable.

Seems to work well. Has some weight so it doesn't float. Plastic connection to pole. Hope it lasts.

For the price I paid for this piece of the overall vacuum system I am pleased with this purchase. I have used it twice connected to a hose, that connects to the small filter that comes with the pool. I am impressed at the amount of hair it collects with the brush heads and the ease of cleaning the brush heads when done. I gave it three stars for suction power only because the suction mainly comes from the filter and if your filter isn't clean this end piece can't function properly. Again, the part overall is well made, sturdy and perfect for an 18 wide x 4 feet high Intex above ground pool. Definitely can see this part lasting for years.

This pool vacuum head is a great deal for the cost. It is nice and heavy which makes pushing it along the pool floor very easy as it stays put. The suction is very good and helps to channel everything where it needs to go. The brushes also work well to scrub stuck on dirt or algae. Overall, I really like this pool. I can't speak to the durability yet as this is the first season I've used it but it appears to be well constructed and the pole connection appears to be replaceable.

We have an 18 foot circular above ground vinyl pool so this is my typical vacuum head. It has the perfect weight to stay on the bottom of the pool. The only problem I have with it (being beneath neighbor's surrounding oak trees, I get debris daily) is that the brushes tend to push dirt and other debris in front of the direction you're moving the head. I actually use it with one of the brushes removed for this reason... and still this creates a problem because i'm not always going in that direction. I already have a pool brush attachment that I could brush with in 5 minutes' time so having brushes on my vacuum head seems redundant to my needs, and in fact slows me down for the reason mentioned. This is a good attachment if you have light debris, but if you have a situation like me you'll be trying to figure out better options without brushes. I also use this head as an intake for an hour or so a day.. I take off the pole and just sink it in the center of the pool so it will take in water from there, instead of my only other intake which is the surface skimmer (dirt and debris go down, not up, so this design doesn't clean the pool as well). The pole attachment is fairly strong. Mine just broke but i've used this vacuum head almost daily for two years now. No problems hooking it up to the 1.5" hose.. it doesn't come unattached easily. I would buy it again if I didn't have as much debris from surrounding trees.. I may come back to it if I can't find anything better.*the other head i'm using is theworks great for getting debris off the bottom without the brushes pushing it around.. you can find it cheaper on a certain auction site.. I rotate between this and the triangle brush model for brushing..

Okay so I have been using this vacuum head for over a month and it works ok. It has bristles on all 3 sides with the corners being open as seen in the picture. This is sort of a problem when cleaning because all the muck has no where to go and ends up just being stirred around. I flipped it over and noticed that the bristles are removable so I pulled out the front row and that seemed to help. I actually can sweep stuff up now. This is not a heavy head and so in order for it to work you have to move at a snail's pace. If you have a small above ground pool you will probably need to change or clean your filter a few times in one cleaning if there is a substantial amount of dirt on the bottom. Overall, its a decent working item.
