I got it to work, and it hooks up fairly simple. It takes a lot less time to clean my 22,000-gallon gunite pool with this vacuum head. I would say this is probably not the right vacuum for everyone. It is extra-large commercial grade. While I found it effective in cleaning my pool it also created a lot more swirling dirt because it is so large. I'm going to keep using it as I think it will be very effective the more, I get used to it.

practically useless as a pool vacuum head

This item does not move smooth and is not weighted as stated, I have tried to use it three times and will not roll on the bottom of the pool. The bristles are longer then the head rollers length. Rollers don't touch, so they can't roll. If I knew that is item had bristles on it I would have never spent the money, should be weighted and rollers only. This is a crap product DO NOT BUY!

Don't buy this item thinking you get what you pay for i had and used the cheapest 25$ range head and the plastic part that inserts into the pool pole broke in less then a years time so maybe 13 uses. So I figured replacing it with a quality more expensive one would do the trick. The one I bought 100$ range is built better but won’t work like described. It may have a use for a heavy duty application or something other then DIY pool keeping but definitely doesn’t come close to doing what the product description led me to believe. I definitely don’t recommend for average home owners with in ground pools

I found the narrower one I already have is much more effective. This one stirs everything up and then you can't vacuum until it settles again.
