About this item

  • Using the second generation high-precision temperature sensor, indoor receiver and outdoor transmitter, the receiving range can reach 300 feet without signal interference, and the real data is updated every 48 seconds, ensuring that you know the outdoor temperature in time and add clothes when going out for a walk or shopping in cold weather.
  • Wireless frequency: 433 MHz, measures the maximum/minimum record real-time temperature and humidity for the past 24 hours. The indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity monitor measures indoor temperature 32°F ~ 140°F(0°C ~ 60°C), outdoor temperature -40°F ~ 140°F(-40°C ~ 60°C), with an accuracy of ± 1.8°F /1°C. The indoor and outdoor humidity range is 20%-95%, with an accuracy of ± 5%. (Wet: Humidity ﹥ 70%; COM: 40% ≤ Humidity ≤ 70% and 20°C ≤ Temperature ≤ 28°C); Dry: Humidity ﹤ 40%. )
  • The default setting is Fahrenheit unit, you just need to set the time. The indoor receiver can monitor 3 outdoor transmitters at the same time, switch freely to view the data, it is very useful in home swimming pools, spas, pool spas, aquariums and fish ponds.
  • The outdoor transmitter has a solar power panel that can only be powered by sunlight during the day, but this solar panel has no charging function. It is completely battery-powered at night. One advantage of this is that it can extend the battery life.
  • In order to better use the product, you can read the instructions first. Generally, install the battery of the indoor unit (receiver) first, and then install the battery of the outdoor unit (transmitter). This will allow you to search for the product signal faster. If the signal is interfered in the middle, or the line is disconnected and there is no data, you can install the battery as above and connect it again.

WT0124 Swimming Pool Water Thermometer

Swimming pool water thermometer

Water Thermometer Floating on the Surface of Swimming Pool Water

1. After unpacking, install the batteries in the correct way: first take out the outdoor transmitter and install the batteries, then install the batteries for the indoor unit to reduce interference from surrounding radio waves.

2. After the connection is completed, put the outdoor unit into the swimming pool. The distance should not exceed 328 feet. If you take the outdoor unit out of the water, be sure to wipe off the water before opening the cover. This will prevent water from entering the product.

3. It is inevitable that some minor problems will arise during the use of electronic products. If you have any questions, you can ask us for help. We will have professional engineers to solve them for you. Thank you very much.

I was excited to purchase this wireless pool thermometer, hoping for accurate and reliable temperature readings. Unfortunately, my experience has been quite disappointing. While the thermometer boasts impressive features like a long-range wireless signal and real-time updates, the accuracy of its temperature readings is a major concern. I've consistently found that the thermometer reads about 2 degrees higher than the actual water temperature. This discrepancy can significantly impact decisions about pool use, especially when it comes to maintaining optimal water temperature for swimming or hot tub use.The solar-powered outdoor transmitter is a nice touch, but it seems to be more of a gimmick than a practical feature. The solar panel doesn't seem to provide enough power to fully charge the batteries, so the device still relies heavily on battery power. This can be inconvenient, especially if you forget to replace the batteries regularly.Overall, while this pool thermometer offers some useful features, the inaccurate temperature readings make it a frustrating and unreliable tool. If you're looking for a reliable way to monitor your pool temperature, I would recommend exploring other options.

I got this particular wireless device for my pool particularly since it includes a solar charger that will allow for much longer life of the installed batteries (you need 2 AA batteries in the float as well as 2 AAA in the receiver). It really does have multiple functions such as time, date, day, indoor and outdoor temps and 3 different channels. The range is good and the device was recognized as soon as I installed the batteries in the receiver. The temperatures read are accurate as well. I compared them to the readings on other thermometers i have and they were exact. Remember that you need to install the batteries in the float first, then you install the receiver batteries. If you don't install them in this order the receiver will not search for the float. So far everything is working well, but I have to report that the instructions are very poor and the set up is incredibly non-intuitive. Some of what I did was accomplished purely by chance and setting this up took me much longer than similar devices I have used. If not for the poor instructions I could have given 5 stars. Do know, too, that the LCD read out is not lighted so you won't be able to see it in a dark setting. I nearly reduced the rating to 3 stars because of the daunting set up.

The device works, but not all the time. It will blank out the water temperature for 20 minutes or a half hour at a time fairly frequently. (I'm using it to monitor the temperature of an outdoor pond (cold, but non-frozen).
