This saw totally did the job, but it could be better.Pros:* Works exactly as advertised* Good valueCons:* A little heavy* Putting the poles together is a bit tediousI ended up just keeping the poles together and split it in half so that I don't have to keep screwing them in every time I need to use it.

I got this to help me remove a high up American wild grape vine. It works well. It helps me avoid going higher on a ladder so it overall a safety device for me.I assembled this in about five minutes and the ease of use is intuitive.The pole is a bit thin so may not be robust. On the other hand this makes it lighter weight and overall easier to handle.Recommended for use with exceptional reach around the yard.The bottomline is that most people will succeed with this above shorter models

This pole saw does cut limbs out of reach easily and without a lot of effort. The best part about it is it's compact and comes apart for easy storage, that's also the worst part about it. You have to put it together to just grab down one branch here or there. The pipes thread together, if they popped in with a pin it would go together quicker, but it doesn't take so long that it would be worth leaving put together either.
