My neighbor has palm trees. It's seed pods create a mess when they shed, and I don't like waiting for his tree guy to come around while the droppings make a mess in my pool. Now k can safely reach up and cut the pods that over hand on my side (they look like a corn cob) out of the tree before they blossom.

When all the poles are attached it’s impossible for me to lift it up, too heavy & cumbersome. The blade is WAY too flimsy to cut very much. It just bends and tears more than it cuts. I’ve had limited success with using only half the number of poles.

Took this out of the box as soon as it arrived. Immediately noticed one of the plastic wing nuts from one of the pole ends was broken.Another pole end was missing the wing nut and screw alltogether.Ok, I decided not to use those two poles and assembled the remaining ones. Checked all of the screws, nuts and wing nuts. Everything was nice and tight.Ended up cutting one small branch (1-2 in in diameter) and it worked ok - as long as you use the proper technique to use the momentum of the instability of the poles. The long pole is extremely wobbly and unstable when assembled with 5-6 poles.I then started on a 2nd branch which was about 4 inches in diameter and the saw head completely broke off during the cut!It turns out the fasteners that hold the saw handle together at the top worn off and disconnected from the metal threading piece. The saw bounced and almost hit me, very dangerous.The blade is fairly sharp so I'll give it that, and the design is not bad. However, the quality of the assembly is trash.I specifically bought this model after looking at other ones which have plastic threading connections instead of metal, this one has metal threading connectors and the extra plastic tighteners that prevent it from untwisting the threading. The materials just need to be better. The wing nuts need to be metal, the metal threading tubing connectors need to be bolted to the poles using actual bolts that go all the way through the pole, and they need to make sure all parts are included/not broken before shipping.Very disappointed, I was genuinely excited about this product and instead I got to narrowly avoid decapitation. At least I have a cool story to tell I guess.Returning this for a full refund, this is ridiculous
