Short length with teeth on one side only.. Chain twists easily! Question strength of chain. Straps not appropriate for any rope attachment. Frustrating! i WOULD NOT RE BUY THIS ITEM.

I am out in the backcountry all the time and you never know when you’re gonna need a handsaw this one absolutely is going to come in handy. I’m glad I’ve got it. It looks super sharp. It looks like I can actually sharpen it so I’m glad that and I like to bright colors so if you actually drop it, you’re gonna be able to spot it really easily and you’ll be able to cut poles either for a lean to or firewood in an emergency without any problem. I’ve added this to my EMT bag that goes inside of my vehicle so that no matter what I have it I do sometimes throw it in my backpack when I go backpacking but generally, I just wanna make sure I have it for emergency purposes. It does seem really heavy duty and I like the bag that it comes in it has a little Belt holster so that you can have it on your belt loop.

A+++!! Hands down, this is the BEST addition to my hiking pack since the water bottle!First off, it's compact. Small. Fits into a pouch about three inches square, with a solid plastic backpack style buckle and a molle style securement strap on the back. Easy to fit into an existing pocket or latch it to your belt or backpack.Second, it works!!! Both me and my father cut through a 3" log in under 30 strokes (aka 15 seconds). Each! I'm 46 and he's 69. Now that's fast! Almost zero effort needed. Just grab the two handles, step on whatever log your cutting and start to pull back and forth. The saw does the rest.Third, it fits back into it's pocket with ease! Seriously, blow or wipe off your chainsaw blade, then grab both of the handles in one hand, and letting the chain dangle start shimmying it back and forth back into the bag. Fold your handles in, clip it closed and you are good to go!Honestly, I wish that I could give this 6 stars for the review. It's that good! Awesome little pocket tool that works WAY better than expected! This is gonna revamp all my upcoming camping trips. Enjoy!
