Can only give this a two star. It is nicely made, but it is too soft, which makes it unsteady. We also have a smaller Plyo Box by Yes 4 All. I prefer that one as it has some softness, but is also more firm and steady.

These boxes are great for their dimensions and price, but they are very heavy, making them hard to move. Also, they are very soft. Fine enough for an unweighted step up, but anything weighted or box jumps makes them super unstable. I’m a Physical Therapist and the Titan boxes we have in clinic are much lighter but at the same time more sturdy (albeit more expensive).

I had an all-wood plyo box, and after a gruesome shin accident, I looked for a soft box replacement. I LOVE this foam plyo box!! I actually had ordered and returned one other model that was wood covered in foam, and it was not quite soft enough; this one is all foam, and feels safe to land on. I have no fear of scraping myself, and can again do my box jumps! I am female, 5'5, and the combination of heights is perfect for me. I have seen reviews of similar products stating that a foam box can become wobbly when used in tallest height; this one seems plenty stable for me in all heights, and I personally feel that the injury risk of slipping off a wooden box is worse than falling off from a 24 in. height!
