The PlusAcc battery base has significantly enhanced the versatility of my Echo Spot. Previously confined to its nightstand position beside my bed, it can now be utilized as a portable Bluetooth speaker, untethered from an AC cable. I frequently take it into the garage for music playback. The battery’s longevity is impressive; even during extended periods of use, such as wrenching on my Harley, I have never encountered a power shortage. The stand ensures uninterrupted music playback. During the holidays we got my kid an Alexa for their room to enjoy some music and set alarms. This has been a great addition because it creates the ability to make the Alexa portable which comes in handy. Now they set alarms for themselves around the house for various activities. Also, having a portable speaker for some music is nice. Battery life on it is excellent and install is very simple. They just need to have some more colors available to match all the options available by Alexa.

It really is what should have come with the spot in the original design. It works super well but you need to supply your own cord and make sure you know the extra charging port on the back is not USB normal (A) but needs a usb c cord so make sure if you have an android to pick up a usb-c to usb-c cord before you order. Works well and holds tight, raises it up a bit and gives you a better angle to see the screen and also provides backup power if you have an outage.Downside: I thought i was getting a spot included at this price.
