Works as expected. Ensure you're careful removing the back covers off the speaker as you may break the clips if you're not careful (be sure to see YouTube video on opening speaker). Not a big deal, but just lessons learned. Remember, you need TWO batteries for the LG XBOOM.After opening and replacing two batteries in my LG XBOOM, my speaker roared back to life! Has had no issues since. Only main difference between these and the originals are the original batteries are wrapped in foam and have foam on the wire. These don't have foam on the wire, nor are they wrapped in foam, but still stay put as you expect.Really glad I purchased this. Saved me from replacing my excellent LG XBOOM, and expect to be able to use it quite nicely for the years to come!Don't hesitate, just be careful, watch the YouTube video, open, replace, and close!

What I didn't like about these batteries they never made it to 100%, they only stayed around 80%. I followed the instructions for charging and they never peaked a 100%
