The USBC-6950UE is the first and only dual display adapter that supports two HDMI or DisplayPort displays with a resolution of 4K 60Hz (3840x2160 @ 60Hz) each, without the need of additional video adapters. This display adapter has two HDMI 2.0 ports and two DisplayPort 1.2 ports, and is backwards compatible with previous HDMI and DisplayPort specifications at lower resolutions.
Multiple Displays

Please note, only two external displays supported. If two displays are already connected the unoccupied video output ports on the adapter will not be able to output video.

Simple download and install of the driver software and worked out of the box at the highest resolution. I'm not especially fond of the short flat cable, but I would imagine that there are technical reasons for this choice.

Works perfectly on my laptop which has a standard USB-C that is NOT a thunderbolt. I bought another product earlier which only worked on thunderbolt and had to return it. However, this one from displaylink works exactly as described, and the display quality is good too.

This was the exact item I needed. I was able to hook up a total of three extra monitors to my desktop by using the two ports on the device and then one other port from my desktop. I’ve been emailing back-and-forth with Customer Service because this is my second device from them, and I had some questions about both devices. The customer service is excellent, and the person assigned to me always got back to me immediately. This device was much less expensive than others. I have bought because it doesn’t have a whole lot of extra ports – just exactly what I need.

I use macbook M2 air with 16 gb ram and 1 TB hardisk.It worked great without any issue. However at times i would see a lag even on small things like MS word. I ‘m not sure if it was macbook processing issue or this but i haven’t seen macbook lag anytime when not using this.

I bought this to replace a Plugable model UGA-HDMI-2S. The old Plugable unit was easy to set up, but quickly became flaky and wouldn't always connect to 2 external monitors. This new unit has been much better so far, but it is a lot more expensive.

I don’t know if the designer of this item had a stoke prior to finalizing this design but they managed to come up with the worst connector of all time. The item has to sit in front of and at an angle of whatever you’re plugging it into because they use one of those flat rigid edge connectors. Terrible product and freezes ALL OF THE TIME. 0/10 would never recommend this on my worst enemy. Too bad I’m out of the 30 day window or I would return it.

Went through 2 other branded boxes from Amazon before reading reviews on issues with compatibility with HP laptops. This plugable brand box was the cheapest solution recommended to work that was available and I didn't have to wait weeks for. It worked right out of the box without having to search for display drivers online. The only drawback is it is very basic and doesn't have any usb connections on it to plug in your keyboard or mouse so you will need to plug those directly to the laptop if you use them for a desktop type setup. If you have a cheap $197 Walmart laptop then it only had 2 USB A so no other ports for expansion (i.e cam or CAC reader). In summary, this product does what it is intended for and i was able to use all 3 displays (extended but can also mirror) just fine.

Jan 4, 2024: This will connect an extra two monitors when you couldn't before. Tried it on a number of machines at home, all recognized it... surprisingly with zero issue. Anything from a Mac to Windows to Intel Mac. Literally zero setup, which was crazy surprising. Even have a 4K LG monitor running at 60hz and another at 144hz from this box.BUT, loses higher color information. My 4K, 12bit, HDR monitor can't do HDR or above 8bit now. Eh, worthy sacrifice. Will keep it. This will be relegated towards secondary work PC duty (still doing 144hz at 4K?? wow). But will keep my main displays on a primary high bitrate connection.Overall, so far, very happy. Will see in a few months if I have any issues. I will for sure angrily update if so.

Excelente opcion para ampliar a 2 pantallas mas windows y macLo he probado hasta con la mac M1 PRO 2021 y funciona genial, solo recuerden usar el driver para que no tengan situaciones que se va la senal.Hay veces que hiberna la mac y no quiere detectar la senal, solo abran el software que se instala del mismo probedor original y listo ya se ven los dos monitores.Esta muy practico, por que tiene para ampliar a 2 minitores, pero cada ampliacion puede ser display port o hdmi, funciona con 4k.

Does exactly what it says it all do... was finally able to connect my two 27" Dell U HD displatport monitors without jumping through any hoops. Bios updates had twice killed my configuration. The first time my thunderbolt dock stopped responding. IT replaced it with a mini thunderbolt dock which took me HOURS to configure so that both displays were recognized and then only by connecting one to HDMI and one to displayport thereby losing resolution on one monitor. When another BIOS update killed that dock and IT replaced with another mini dock I found this. With two DP 1.2 ports it gives my back my two hires monitors and it was truly plug and play. Best purchase ever! Even though my cheap IT department wouldn't reimburse me for it. It's well worth every penny and then some! My only dislike is that the cable is so short. I usually have it upside-down but flipped it for the photo.
