Initially sharp, ran extremely dull from first use in mild steel. I use lower rpms, oil and not allowing the bit to heat soak. Still dulled out and did not complete the first use of 1" hole.

For the price you may be hesitant don’t be they are good quality been using them for a couple weeks drilling electric panels and the are still sharp. These are not HF bits
