It's super bright ( the intensity can be adjusted). I bought it for my waterhome 77g as the faulty balast was burning the T8 neons each 2-3months. The light itself doesn't have different types of white as the Power glo or Aqua glo neon bulbs but it does the job. This Led actually fits under the canopy without any adjustments! So if you have this type of aquarium and can't find 42 inch neons as they are discontinued this is your option B.

This seems to be a good light. I've had it for a week. It is good and bright and I can see the multi coloured LEDs. I bought the second largest one for a 20 gallon. It looks like I could have gone one size larger but this one is definitely bright enough.I found it a little difficult to program, then I realized I was over thinking it - the video solved my problem. It seems to be working well. It is on my tank at work so the auto on off is really important to me for when I am not there. Happy with it. Planning on ordering another for my larger tank.

Great light! Easy to set up and quite the selection of lighting options. Will see if this makes a difference with my plants which I think it would .

This is a great light. I did not find it hard to program, and really you could jist press the 24/7 button and go with their preprogramed times, so you can get the neat effect with the push of one button. It's not hard. I did adjust the sun set and sunrise times to be longer because I like those lights. My fish seem happy and my plants are thriving.

La lampara cumple con lo estipulado por el fabricante. Además de su proactividad en el envío del manual de instrucciones en digital, tiene muchas funciones y se queda guardada la configuración o set up de horarios de la lámpara con la pila que también se envía para la memoria (lámpara muy completa en cuanto a funcionalidad). Los materiales y fabricación de muy alta calidad. Muy contento con la compra, excede mis expectativas.

(24 hr mode is fixed in terms of colours and intensity, and has no siesta mode. To program in a siesta, you lose the nightlight freatue)BUILD/STYLE: This light looks nice. Low profile, sleek, and adjustable for numerous tank sizes. The buttons are on the cord, which could be a drawback depending on how you have your tank and outlets set up.LIGHT OPTIONS: Being able to pick the intensity from by 5% steps is really cool. And there are quite a few colour choices, not just the white or blue like most lights. Blue light is horrible for your night vision, so if you’d like it to kinda act like a night light, choose red.My favorite for nighttime is C05, which seems like a really clear light, maybe the tiniest hint of purple? And that helps neutralize the slight yellow in my tank (from wood). Anyways, I love it.TIMERS: You can schedule in a siesta, but lose the night light feature.24 Hr setting: Pre programmed colours and intensity. You just set the times. Includes dawn, midday, dusk, and night. The changes are gradual, with a ramp up or down, which is nice. BUT this feature means that you light is on all day, and that is a great way to get algae overgrowthDay and Night Setting: This allows you to have two separate sets of light times/strength/coloursSo, to program in a siesta, you program the first half of the day on the DAY setting, and then the second half as the NIGHT setting. That means you can’t have it on as a nightlight.So DAY: On in morning, Off at start of siesta. NIGHT: On at end of siesta, Off at night/end of day.The above is what I did, because I have always run my tanks with siestas, using a regular timer box thing you plug the light into. Those are just on and off, but I can adjust the time down to 15 min increments, and could turn it off and on as many times as I wanted too.You can go and change the colour if you want just on a one off, and it won’t mess up the whole programmed bit. I like one of the dimmer settings for night while I’m working late (C05). I just turn it off when I go to bed and the program still comes on for the morning like it should.Personally, I think if you are going to go to the hassle of making a light that has programmable settings and timers, then you should add a siesta option. The easiest way to control algae is to control the light. Plants are good at restarting photosynthesis quickly, whereas algae takes a lot longer. So having a period of relative darkness in the middle of the day makes it harder for them to photosynthesis and grow.

This light is very easy to install and setup. I have a 10 gallon rimmed tank, and the light fit perfectly. I use the 24/7 mode and it is very easy to program. The daylight (full spectrum) is very bright!
