This tool is durable and made of quality materials. I keep this in my bag for my motorcycle axle nut. Compact and extremely useful! (Fits 21-23 Harley pan america axle nut)

Perfect for the job and with the 1/2" fitting milled in the tool for the torque wrench to attach to get the right setting on the nut makes it the best option for the money.

Bought this because the chrome plated wrench included in the tool kit on the bike wasn't something that i wanted to take a hammer to to loosen the rear axle nut, and the long padded handle aids ion getting the nut loose. The 3/8" square hole on the wrench also allows for the use of a breaker bar for assistance if needed. Additionally, that square drive makes it handy for proper torquing of the nut upon re-installation. Be advised, however, the it takes a 3/8" drive and not a 1/2', so you might want to make sure that you have and adapter handy if your torque wrench is a 1/2" like mine. One other thing of note is that this wrench is an extremely tight fit and, on my bike at least, the wrench only seems to want to fit on the nut from one side and not the other, so if the nut is the least bit imperfect, you may have a bit of a problem getting it on.

Great Wrench worked perfect. Good to have in my tool pouch for summer riding. Be aware it is long for leverage so you would need to wrap it away in your side bag or top bag. Its worth being able to adjust my belt drive on a long 21 day ride if I need to. Came in great condition, sturdy, and the padding rubber did not split when I wacked it with a hammer butt.

I'm writing this review as well as one on the OTC brand axle nut wrench. Check that review here as well. This Pit Posse wrench was purchased to help with the rear wheel service of my 2010 Harley Ultra Limited land yacht motorcycle. The wrench is 11 1/2" in length, versus the one from OTC, that comes in at 7 3/4". The Pit Posse has a 3/8ths square drive hole a bit over 2" from the center of the 36mm 6 point wrench end. The OTC is approximately 6" from the center of the 12 point hole, and is a 1/2" drive square hole. The Pit Posse has a nice rubber coating with a slightly pebble finish that may aid in gripping if your hands are a bit greasy. Not sure about how the coating will last, as the wrench slightly tapers in width, so if the rubber sleeve moves a little while using, it will probably lose its grip on the wrench body, and slide off. But for this job, it worked great. The wrench is approximately 1/4" thick, versus the OTCs 5/16" thickness. The body is clearly marked with the 36mm size, as well as a small Pit Posse logo.I was hoping that with the additional length of this wrench versus the shorter OTC, that I'd be able to loosen the axle nut without removal of the muffler. No such luck. It's added length and 6 point head meant it jammed on the muller body and didn't want to turn as easily as the shorter 12 point more position able OTC wrench. Where this Pit Posse worked better than the OTC, was its ability to hold the opposing side of the axle while the nut was tightened on the other end. As I mentioned in my review of the OTC offering, the Pit Posse has a slightly larger OD on the wrench end, that while maybe increasing the strength slightly, it meant the OD would hit the belt tension cam stop on the swing arm.

it works perfectly on 99 percent of the harleys I have used it on. once in a while I get a FL with lowering blocks that get in the way (not all lowering blocks though) I highly recommend buying 2, so you can hold the axle side to keep it from spinning when you set the belt tension.Ive even been able to use these wrenches on dropped bagged touring bikes to do quick chain adjustments without removing everything.
