Item sent twice because packaging isn't adequate, very heavy! When ordering, keep separate, first time thus was sent it destroyed the other items in the same box. Second try, ordered separately, still sent another item in same box.. destroyed other item. They sent a used tool, had hammer markings and scares. Would have returned but I had waited weeks to get this already. Worked fine

I have not used this unit as of receiving it as I know I will be needing it. Looks to be of good quality. The box had been dropped during shipment and tool did contact the ground, looks like it never got damaged at all so appears to be made of good quality metal, iron. I kinda wish it was made of aluminum so it would be much lighter, but working on 3/4 ton and larger vehicles you have to have muscles to work on them so it is not a deal breaker. It is a one piece tool unlike the previous seal driver used up to 2004 that was a two piece tool, so it does get a bit bulky for storage but maybe the OEM Ford tool might be the same way, I really don't know since I have never seen one. Hope this helps someone to decide if they want this specific brand tool.

I bought this because I needed it. It sucks to have to buy such a specialized tool that I will probably only use once. Without this tool the job would have been much harder. If you are changing the axle seal on your f250/f350 you really should bite the bullet and buy this. Note this was for a 2006 F250, 2004 and older use a different tool.

It worked great . I used a block of wood in between so not to smash the end of the tool all up. I only had a metal 2 lb. hammer to use. Hardly put a mark on the seal install tool.

Bought installer and is being used by a professional technician for 15 years and installer end where you hit with hammer caved in and is destroyed after one seal install. Quality is very very poor not at all comparable to otc professional brand. Returning for a full refund and will purchase otc brand and spend more money but way more reliable
