The "bottle Jack Adapter Lifting Saddle for 2"&3"&4" Round Axle Tube" is a robustly build simple device that allows you to more safely use a bottle jack on a vehicle axle (always insert a jack stand after reaching desired height when lifting a vehicle by any means). It is made of strong 1/4" steel plate and is powder coated to prevent rust. You just hold the adapter in the center of the bottle jack piston until the axle is cradled, and then continue to lift. Fit my husky 3 ton bottle jack fine. Works great; I highly recommend.

I had needed one of these for a while as, at times, I need to lift at the axel. My jack head isn't designed for that and would be dangerous if I did. This jack adapter fits perfectly and securely allowing me to lift the axel so I can do my repairs. I love the red color too as it helps me find it in my tool box. It's built well and is solid.

Fits my 2016 toyota tacoma bottle jack and axle. I had to do a light grinding of the weld seam to get it to fit over the bottle jack.

I think car manufactures, in general, do not provide a very good emergency lift system for their cars. Every car I have has a flimsy scissor jack platform and they usually are limited in height and do not secure well to the car frame. The bottle jack adapter provides a stable lifting platform and secures evenly on your cars frame. I wish these came standard with car jack systems. Solid steel construction and small enough to fit in your glove box. Hope I never have to use it but if I do then I will be ready for a safe and effective tire change.

Without one of these, I don't think I'd feel very comfortable using my newly-acquired bottle jack in a whole lot of situations. I got it specifically for lifting my 1-ton, solid axle 4wd dually truck, and frankly I can't imagine trying to do without. Unless you can find a flat spot on a bracket under your axle, then you're literally going to be perching several tons of steel atop a little 1.6" anvil by pushing against a rounded tube and hoping it doesn't slip off. It's a little pricey for what it is, but these adapters are pretty much a necessity. Frankly it's a crime that the bottle jacks don't just come with them to begin with. This particular one has the advantage of having a square cross-sectional area that can also be used on certain framerails and control arms. Pretty handy.

It is made of heavy gauge steel and I like that it is heavy and sturdy with strong, quality welds, and also has a quality finish. The problem I have is not the fault of the seller of this item. Unfortunately, it would not work for my intended use of it. I have a 2 ton and a 6 ton bottle jack. I keep the 6 ton jack in a toolkit in my pickup truck. I had planned to put this and the two ton jack in my OHV side by side tool kit. The problem is that this adapter is so much larger than the ram of both jacks that it cannot be safely used because of the possibility of the jack kicking out under load. Oh well, I also have a welder, I'll keep it and figure out a safe modification, so that it can be used as I planned without my risking severe injury. It may even work as is with my floor jacks, I have not yet tried that.

Had to use my dremel tool to grind off the internal high spots but now, works nicely on my Tacoma bottle jack.
