I actually purchased these to be a frog shelter for my frogs and toads out in the yard. They do a great job and have stood up through direct sun and rain.

My curly hair really enjoys it. We had another hide in her enclosure before and she never used it but this one she seems to like. One was a little smaller than the other but that didn't bother me.

Just bought a baby corn snake and needed a couple more hides. He is tiny and likes small spaces to hide all day. These are perfect size for him, plus like the look of them.

These coconut hides do their job and would work in a large tank. I did end up returning these because they were too large for my hermit crab tank.
