This is a cute little spider hide with a strong magnet for adherence to the side of your enclosure. It's a walnut cut in half and glued to the top wood piece which is like a platform. What is nice about this is that your spider can build a nice little nest inside, but have some solid ground to stand on when feeding or just hanging out outside of its hideaway. This is an appropriate size for a juvenile to adult spider, but is too large for a sling. I love that it is a natural looking little home, my spider loved it right away and got to building! I also think this is a great price for an "all in one" piece to add to your spider's home.

Came exactly as advertised, made of a real walnut shell and other natural materials, through the turf on top is artificial. Magnets are strong and hold well to the enclosure, and there's no strong chemical odors from the glue used.

This little walnut and grass platform is a great hide for jumping spiders and arboreal tarantulas. I have two and my spiders loved it, sheltering in the opening within the first day. The magnet makes it easy to attach and move on any enclosure.PROS:+ Stable Magnet: The magnet is very strong and holds well even on glass terrariums. The magnet is on the wider side and is not small and flimsy, flat and stable for flush mounting, and secure enough to hold the hide without it drooping or spinning. It is strong enough to hold both the hide and even secure a piece of netting I placed underneath.+ Water-friendly Grass Patch: The little puff of 'grass' on the top of the hide makes a wonderful place for my jumper and arboreal tarantula to land. Instead of misting up my entire enclosures densely with water, I've been placing droplets that sit well on the grass for my spiders to find. Yes, they do drink there, and the dropping method has been keeping my enclosure more mess-free.+ Easy-Clean Design: My spiders are always pooping left and right, yet this little shell and grass platform is easy to clean with a damp cloth or a quick rinse. The wood is porous, so I try to let it dry to avoid gathering mold, but it dries rather quickly in open air.CONS:- Wood is Porous: If you are keeping a tropical arboreal tarantula baby, the humidity in your enclosure may impact this hide. I've noticed my wood developing a few spots and absorbing water to expand when my humidity is on the higher side; my grass also once developed a tad of mold. I affix this closer to my enclosure's air vent holes to prevent this.

Instant hit with my jumping spider. Grass isn’t super tall so she can walk around easily on it. She made it her cave as soon as it went in her space.

Arrived broken but was easy to fix with some super glue. Might be annoying if you have none on hand.Did give me an opportunity to adjust the angle that the cavity faces though
