Nearly perfect, beautiful, I bought it for my wife who is obsessed with rose gold, and she loves it. Only problem is that the handle becomes extremely hot, which I guess is a feature of most teapots. But you have to be very careful not to burn yourself.

Kettle arrived with no padding in the packaging and the kettle was damaged. The whistle was detached and looked like it was never welded on. How do I rate this a larger negative number "-5". The Kettle apparently is not qualified for returns to Amazon. Terrible, Terrible customer service.

Noticed after a few weeks the tea kettle was leaking. I notified the manufacturer about the problem and waiting to hear from them. The leak is on the kettle base. Hopefully they can send a replacement.

It’s at a higher price point than my last kettle but it’s definitely worth it. The handle is so sturdy. A reviewer mentioned the metal part of the handle getting hot, I worried I’d have to have a designated mitt or holder. But the way I grab the handle I’m in no danger of touching the metal whatsoever so to each their own. Had to return the first one because it was scratched through the first layer of colour, they don’t package it well at all. Overall love it.

Cheap and nasty, so glad I could return it! Extremely disappointed by how flimsy it was, the handle wobbled, and it was super light. The kettle took FOREVER to heat up and was noisy. Packaging was crazy as well, a piece of paper wrapped around the kettle inside a big box - that was it!!

The ONLY reason I have not returned this kettle after its first use is because it's so beautiful. It cost WAY too much money to be so flawed. Firstly, the description on the page is incorrect: The handle does not fold down. Second, more steam blows out of the top than blows out of the actual spout. Most importantly, the metal on the handle is extremely dangerous. The wood must only be there for decoration because functionally, it makes no sense to have the metal peeping out between the pieces of wood. My hands can handle heat so I can pour the water but I advise everyone else to PLEASE USE A POT HOLDER OR THICK CLOTH TO PICK UP AND OPEN AND CLOSE THE SPOUT OF THE HOT KETTLE.I first reviewed this item on September 9, 2017. Having grown to love this kettle and just replaced it, here is an update to me review:The color is beautiful but has changed in hew a slight bit. As you can see, the rose gold used to be more pink (see picture from 2017 on the white stove) and now it’s more like a pink-ish copper tone (see picture from 2020 on a black stove). The handle shape has changed a bit as well, with the wood on the out edge tapering off a bit more than it used to in the original design. Also, the body of the kettle is less round. This kettle is still dangerous, but I’ve gotten used to it. And I’m still in love with its overall aesthetic. I will likely purchase yet another backup/replacement so I’ve decided to change my rating from one star to three.
