Didn’t even get to use it. I washes it and the coating came off. Then black powder got everywhere it touched, all over your hands, etc.

Looks great, feels great, Works Great! Well made, sturdy and attractive. It is well worth the cost. I honestly expect this scoop to last a lifetime. I have now officially designated this scoop as one of my family heirlooms... no kidding... it's that beautiful! Lol

This ice cream scoop holds up extremely well, and it's easy to clean by hand. It would just be even better if it could be dishwasher safe.

I didn't want to order the one from pampered chef so I ordered this one and works just as good. Doesn't have the same weight as its pretty light but still works really well.

This ice cream scoop is an old design that works almost perfectly. It scoops vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry with equal ease, even better if you warm it with water first. Plenty sturdy, you won't bend it with even the hardest ice cream. But DON'T PUT IT IN THE DISHWASHER! The smooth finish will come off exposing the raw aluminum body, which leaves black marks on your hand and the ice cream.

This scoop is an excellent size and feels just right in your hand. It’s not heavy at all, but has enough of a weight that the ice cream scoop’s quickly and perfectly. It’s smooth and makes it easy!

My kids and I love ice cream, and we have gone through more than a handful of terrible ice cream scoops that have all broken or bent. This is the first that we have used that scoops ice cream seamlessly, and is so sturdy. I don’t think it is possible to bend this if you tried. The ice cream doesn’t stick to the scoop which is such a great feature. It might not be anything fancy, but it works, it’s good quality, and is worth what we paid for it.

Ice cream scoopers disappear quite often in our house (along with pizza cutters) so I jumped on Amazon and ordered the first one I saw. Read the reviews and it seemed perfect. Arrived quickly. Love that its black. The scoop part is a tad smaller than I'd prefer but it works just fine. I made the mistake of assuming it was dish washer safe, the black coating peeled off after the second wash. I would not of purchased it if I had realized it was hand wash only...who has time to hand wash stuff? It is a great product tho, highly recommend for an inexpensive but effective ice cream scooper
