Would not work on polaris atv, with makuni carb. Hits on the cylinder, needs to be a shorter bend

If you use it for what it is intended to do, I don't see how it could be bad. If the air screw is frozen or stuck in the carb maybe you could have a problem. But if that's the case, fix it before you try to make adjustments.
