Not sure why but this ODS Pilot Assembly will not stay burning. The flame spits and sputters regardless of what I do.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND MODIFYING OR TRYING TO INSTALL THIS ITEM UNLESS YOU ARE AN EXPERIENCED CERTIFIED GAS TECHNICIAN:With the above said, I was able to make this pilot assembly work on my heater ( Flame King YSN-CHS10) after making some minor modifications. WITHOUT going around any of the safety features. Very pleased .I ordered a second one for future use.
