Replaced old magnetic ballast. Wiring is done differently but easy to install. Much cheaper than replacing with original ballast.

Replaced a 2 bulb 8ft. fixture ballast (really old one). This ballast is half the size and a quarter the weight as the old ballast. Watched video on YouTube for exact wiring. Got it right the first time, works great. My garage has never been brighter. Thanks.

This was to fit two 8FT. flourecent tubes. It worked correctly.But , in spite of being a paid up and active prime member I was charged for shipping. Why ???

This went in my 2 car garage, there are 2 eight foot fixtures, installed about 12 years ago. One fixture died, I swapped the tubes and that had no effect.I replaced the ballast with this one and it worked right away, a very simple install.Funny thing, the new ballast throws a lot more light than the original, I can tell when I look from about 30 feet away.

Better delivery time than described in ad. It was delivered within days not months. Easy installation if mechanically/ electrically inclined. Had to drill holes as this ballast is much smaller and lighter than old. Works great, no more humming!!

First off when I was finding a replacement for a ballast, I was clueless besides that I needed a fluorescent ballast.Couple quick pointers for this ballast. This ballast will drive TWO 8ft long tubes (F96) up to 75 watts each (High power, high output, etc) with the T12 socket (single pin connector) and this is a rapid start ballast meaning it's best suited for situations that the light is on for extended periods of time but also provides no warm up for the light to be on.An added bonus, this ballast made my 2 bulbs run brighter compared to my old one that is still working even with two older tuber that I salvaged from my old unit.FYI this ballast is much smaller and lighter than your current ballast probably which is mainly a good thing other than you might have to drill a new hole to secure the ballast to the unit.Also wiring- the wiring for this ballast might be different than your older unit. It only has 6 wires which makes wiring easier.
