Ideal and inexpensive for repairing 50 year old florescent under-cabinet lighting. As just installed, i am counting on these ballast to last for 50 years, or as long as needed.

I have an old 60s 70s era pop machine that the light stopped working on. After replacing the bulb and starter and it still didn't work I found the old ballast. I ordered this one and installed it, and there is light again. This is a great product at a great price. I would definitely recommend this if someone is looking for a ballast that operates an older light.

Seem to work fine. Some of the mounting ears were bent on arrival and you can see areas which were damaged and hand painted. One of the ballasts I bought is quiet and the other one has a very faint buzz.
